Ease of passage is dependent on the Tide. Those gates keep the tide from flowing up stream. As the tide retreats, flow through the gate increases and the boat can't go faster than hull speed. ( a formula that dictates hull length directly influences boat speed) As the boat enters the gate, the velocity of the water increases as a result of the vessel blocking the flow. Velocity equal to hull speed... the boat stops. Greater than hull speed the boats foced back. Great video, by the way. Excellent for study on fluids in motion.

Trước khi xây dựng được âu thuyền thì chính quyền địa phương nên bố trí 1-2 tàu kéo để giải quyết tình trạng này. Đến giờ mở cống thì các tàu neo 2 dây song song bên mạn tàu của tàu mình với đuôi tàu phía trước, cứ lần lượt như thế. Tàu kéo dẫn đầu, tất cả đồng loạt tăng tốc lực máy, cùng tàu kéo vượt cống. Qua tầm 300-500 mét thì mở dây kéo ra. Mỗi tàu sẽ trả chi phí 1 phần chi phí cho tàu kéo như mua vé qua cống. Vậy thì giải quyết được vấn đề nguy hiểm này cho người dân và cho chân đập.

English below. Nước chảy rất nhanh ở những cống hẹp như vầy. Tàu thuyền qua những cống nầy luôn gặp nguy hiểm, khó khăn, đặc biệt khi chúng phải đi ngược nước. Tui đề nghị dựng 1 hay 2 cột khoảng 200 m phía trên cống, rồi từ những cột nầy, dùng dây cáp kéo các tàu thuyền giúp chúng qua cống. Như vậy sẽ giúp điều khiển tàu thuyền tốt hơn (bớt tai nạn), và loại bỏ luôn khó khăn do dòng nước chảy nhanh, mạnh. ========= The water current is very fast around these narrow gates. Passing through those gates is always difficult and dangerous for the boats, especially if they have to go against the current. I'd suggest 1 or 2 piers be put about 200 m upstream of the gates; and from those piers, cables be used to pull the boats through the gates. That would make better control of the boats (fewer accidents) and eliminate problems with the strong water currents.

Đơn vị nào thiết kế? đơn vị nào thẩm tra phê duyệt thiết kế đập ngăn này? Thật là "rất có tâm và tầm nhìn sâu xa" về thủy lợi kế hợp với cản trở - gây khó khăn cho giao thông đường thủy. Sông rộng, dài rất thuận tiện cho việc vận tải hàng hóa siêu trường, siêu trọng và chi phí thấp, giá thành cạnh tranh... vậy mà thiết kế cửa van không đủ rộng và cao cho các phương tiện đường thủy duy chuyển dễ dàng, cái này là gây cản trở giao thông thủy (chưa nói đến phải thiết kế luồng duy chuyển riêng cho Phương tiện mang tính đặc thù). Nhìn 2 bên mố trụ bê tông bị trầy xước đã đủ hiểu nó bị va chạm rất nhiều lần, công trình sao mà có tuổi thọ. Nó giống cái bẫy phương tiện thủy hơn. Thiệt hại cho Phương tiện lỡ xảy ra và công trình ai là người chịu trách nhiệm?

Да не течение быстрое,а пролёты моста,сделаны по принципу максимальной прочности,т.е.очень узкие и естественно напор воды,в этих местах,мощный,а эти доморощенные ,беднячие,так называемые лодки,естественно,не могут преодолеть сопротивление течения....Законы физики.
