I would love to go to vietnam and buy one of those boats just to have all the fun these guys are having. here on the columbia river in portland oregon we never see this kind of action. folks get very angry if they feel you are driving your boat too close to them. Seems the folks in Viet Nam are allot braver than the boat drivers of this area, and also they seem to be much more tolerant and understanding of other boat drivers.

As a mariner from the US it just boggles my mind how little they care. Boat sinks next to them they don't care, janky homemade barge with an excavator can barely make enough speed to get through and almost takes out the prop on the wall. Scary stuff but fascinating all the same!

looked like a small barge converted into a tug really narrow and long it looked like it had the power but the angle kept pulling it sideways and under water being narrow definitely doesn't help in keeping it upright when pulling at an angle
