@Aaron G Yea I heard something to that effect his father was stopping it, but Big L mother (r.i.p too her) did a interview for the doc. Also remember listening to the radio nd they mention her passing. Last summer Big L nephew was killed, Big Lee son.

Took the words out my mouth bro’.I just left a comment that pretty much stated what you already stated here.It’s a FACT!OC is under appreciated more than anything & is in my TOP 10 Dead or Alive & has been since ‘93!✊🏽🏴✌🏽
@socillizt4life3 жыл бұрын
Because Word Life came out in the same year as Nas’s ‘illmatic’,Organised Konfusions ‘Stress:Extinction Agenda’ Wu Tangs:Enter the 36 Chambers,Dr Dre’s The Chronic & a ton of other bona fide classics like ‘93 till infinity’,’Midnight Mauraders’,Bizzare Ride to the Pharcyde’ it nvr got the level of praise & attention that Illmatic went on to get even though it was as flawless from the 1st to last & every bit as classic as Nas’s debut was!’,OC was also way more consistent than Nas when it came to releasing constantly dope albums which ‘Bon Appetite was probably his weakest & that album would still mop the floor with the majority of Hip Hop albums!’93 was probably the most prolific year ever for CLASSIC HIP HOP ALBUMS! EDIT-I just checked google & World Life was a ‘94 release but my point still stands that the mass amounts of classic albums that came out during those couple of years kind of took away from the praise Word Life deserved!

I think id fall in love with Big L if i ever met him around my neighbourhood. When you watch him speak you can tell he could see through everybody and his mind would speed Up when It comes yo perceiving, analysing and thinking how to respond in the most correct way. I do believe he probably was a genius and thats why he could Battle rap so damn good. I think its a combination of his brain and his experiencies in the dope business. He just was ahead of evrryone
