Long time, passionate FSU fan. The team is indeed, very bad and very hard to like. There's no leadership on the field. And it's starting to come apart, despite what CMN says. Still love CMN and believe in him, but he has very hard decisions to make in front of him with his staff. At the very least, as Josh mentioned, there's nothing left to play for within the 2024 season. It's time to play your young players and find what you have for 2025 to begin addressing recruitment needs. It's always Go Noles, win or lose. All we got, all we need. Don't be a fan later. We're down bad this season, but the best lessons in life often start with failure. Hopefully we can learn and turn this into something positive.

This all started last year when FSU was left out of the playoff and it falls in the lap of Norvell. FSU left out of playoff, Norvell reacts like a whiny little bitch, and missed a REAL leadership opportunity. Damn near whole team opts out/quits for bowl game. They get plowed by a UGA team that quite possibly could have won the playoffs, but did not make it and did not quit. Take note there Norvell. I called this season earlier this offseason. Everyone said I was crazy. Their top 6 receivers had 37 catches last year total. Almost every portal player had no starting or playing time last season. Norvell had two good seasons with players he inherited from the previous coach. Now that those players have left FSU, he is back to being a mediocre coach. The university was stupid to award him a huge contract based of of two good seasons. Now, they can't afford to buy him out.

Bro, you don't know what you're talking about. Taggert left Norvell nothing. There wasn't much there when Taggert replaced Jimbo. 2022 and 2023 were already two seasons and 3 or 4 games since Taggert's departure. The main reason for Norvell's success (outside of him having a good offensive mind) was Jordan Travis and an incredible hit rate through the portal. There are staff members who should have been fired, and some that should never have been hired, but its hard to fire dudes after a 13-0 regular season.

It's likely that FSU will only win 2 games this season, which will put Mike Norvell at 26-23 since coming to FSU. In the early days, I thought they lost close games, but performed above their talent level. Now with superior talent, they are performing below their talent level. I honestly believe it all starts with the offense. If the offense gets first downs and lets the defense rest, the defense plays better.
