Is 'Battle Sight Zero' no longer taught in the military? You guys spent several minutes describing that for optics.

I have no idea if it's still taught in the Army; we definitely don't teach it in the Air Force

So... what do you think about electronic optics v. glass?

I suffer less from the change around and more from getting cheap stuff, spending the time to get it squared away and zeroed, then trading it for other cheap stuff, mostly old .22s with ancient optics. Glass clarity is a huge thing, the Swaro I put on my Ruger American .223 lets me see into next week and shot calling is made trivially easy
