Anjan Katta, you are so right! I am still fighting against LED and other non-full spectrum lights. I have even resorted to the old yellow "Bug Light Bulb". I might have bought the last one though, I can't find any more. I really miss "real" light, because being outside is not always convenient, and winters are long here. I keep trying though. I really love your monitor/tablet idea, I am very interested. I think my eyes will thank you.

How is Daylight Computer different from the Onyx Boox products?

we’re 60-120fps & no ghosting/artifacting. they are in their turbo mode 8-12fps roughly, with heavy ghosting and artifacting (you see the previous letters) this is especially bad in third party / android apps on boox we were frustrated with the boox so set out to build something better!

It's a lot better to use, faster, more responsive, doesn't shut down often, accurate visuals. Enormously different experience.

I ran into similar issues, and bought the Boox Tab Ultra C Pro earlier this year. I haven't experienced any of the issues Saifedean has run into with it, though I pretty much only use Obsidian, the browser, and ChatGPT on it, so maybe certain apps don't run as well, or Saif got a dud (the quality control at Boox is not very good, from what I gather). As far as this product goes, I'm happy with my Boox for now, but maybe in a few years, I'll look to swapping it out for something new. The lack of a keyboard case is a dealbreaker for me though, since I pretty much exclusively write with it on my lap. If a proper monitor gets made, I'd be interested in it though. Right now, the e-ink ones really don't cut it I think. Would need something I can do programming with. As an aside, I believe the refresh rate on Ultrafast mode for the Boox devices is 19, not 8-12. Still not nearly as good as 60-120hz, but better than what's stated here.
