Vi and Josh being the brother and sister team of the kitchen is a great dynamic. Nicole, of course, is the kitchen mom, with Trevor as the younger brother. The crew, obviously, are the heard from, but rarely seen, cousins.

A fancy fast casual Josh Wellington! Beat that Gordon! But on serious note, when will the Mythical Café ( or Bistro) fresh made fast casual counter service restaurant complete with cardboard stand ups of the Mythical Kitchen crew ( or Rhett and Link) for photo ops, be built. Over the years you guys have had enough hit recipes to build a menu. I’d buy into that franchise and open one here in the midwest, where there will always be a tub of mayo on hand for if Josh visit.

The problem is, recipes need to not only be delicious, but also streamlined for a commercial kitchen, in order for an establishment to succeed. But Josh's recipes are stupid amounts of work. Great for our entertainment, not so good when you need to get a plate out in a reasonable amount of time. They could probably shave a bit of that down with planning, prep work, and such, but a lot of this stuff just isn't really viable.

In the bulk of the content Mythical Kitchen has produced, there’s a workable menu. I’ve personally implemented a few of his items as specials at the restaurants I’ve worked at. It can be done. There are work arounds and ways to reduce the prep. With a few ingredient tweaks, there can be a mock scaled down version of this egg roll on our “Specials” menu by this weekend. It’s not impossible, all I want to hear is “yes chef”.

I have a suggestion for an ingredient. In japan there’s this really fancy and 20 something year aged soy sauce that’s called hatsutosezukuri (廿歳造). It is literally the most pricey soy sauce that is sold in Japan with it being priced at 31.65$ at a mere amount of 1859.771 fl oz, and it is this beautiful dark almost black color. It tastes amazing. I fortunately live in Japan and made raw egg on rice with that soy sauce and it is such a flavor bomb. Dunno if they ship it over to the us tho.
