Did the number 64 corvette gt car get penalized for his crash with the number 88 because the race officials thought they knew that it was the Corvette's fault? Because I know that the accident was most definitely the 88 Dempsey proton racing car's fault, because he did not give the 64 any room at all, the 88 just kept on merging to the left into the 64 when he knew that the 64 gte pro was coming to pass him again to put another lap on him. If the 64 was penalized for the accident, then that would be really confusing and I think the corvette racing team should challenge that penalty if they could challenge it, just to see if the officials would change their minds.

Sad day :-( Paul Dalla Lana is my favorite driver! Nobody with his racing skills ever seems to have quite as much fun as he does, no matter what, pro or am, and he's the best GTE AM gentleman driver, certainly of this superseason. An ignominious retirement for the old #98 Aston. She's been a great old car!
