The FIA and WEC need to fix the safety car procedure at Le Mans. It's ridiculous that you can end up being thrown behind up to 75 seconds for getting caught up by the wrong safety car. Completely unfair for the teams.

Nicky G however, the alternative is the race taking a long time to be neutralised. This could be quite dangerous if marshals are unable to get to an incident thoroughly and quickly.

@@Ewane Yea. It's a mess of a situation. I just hate to see a 30 second gap become a 90 second gap. Ruins the close battles.

I agree about the safety cars. The FCY is a much safer option and can be used/set in place instantly. Not to mention a race teams entire effort can be sacrificed by one bad placement behind a safety car.

it's a pity the commentators frequently are more interested in what they are saying rather than paying attention to what is going on during pit stops for example. Such as the Ganassi-Dixon stop

David-Joe Klotz , one of them could not keep quiet for one second, and kept interrupting the ones that knew what they were talking about. He became a pain for 24 hours.

Personally......I can't wait to see the C8R in action next year. I'm very curious to see how they perform in this field. I hope to see the days come back where Corvette racing is getting 3-6 victories in a season. The C5R and C6R were big winners in their days. The C7R is the least winning car in the last 20+ years. No disrespect intended....I would like to see the 'vetts make a comeback.

Not comparable. The C7R raced in the most competitive ever GT category. The only opponents of the C6.R (GT1) were the Astons.
