I'm amazed at people saying they'd play K-10 there. I saw nothing wrong with everything Daniel was saying- NOT to kiss anyone's ass, I NEVER do that- and I don't give a crap about celebrity, myself- What I do care about? Truth- and honest explanation, in the thinking processes of the Pros. We got that, far as I'm concerned. What people see Pros doing on TV, on past shows, reruns, etc? Just because you can SEE all the cards? Means nothing. You do NOT know their thinking processes used, to do what they did, at that time, in that moment in the tournament. Pretty awesome that ANY Pro would do a livestream, during a tournament of this size. Although I'm unsure how the concentration will hold up, as I'm only 55 minutes into this so far- But it IS fun to follow Daniel's entire process. Thanks for this!

If you ask me... for what it’s worth ... if dude would live stream every major online tourney he would do vastly better than not. I doubt that he talks through the hands in the way he does here knowing an audience is watching his every move. I bet he does some but I think it specifically gives him an edge. I thought he played great overall... only thing I don’t quite understand is why their was no choice but to bet flop n turn with 10s on a king high board. Or why if 3 bet their was no other option than to shove with 1010 in that spot. Anything other than a fold is 57/43 most likely or worse yet 20/80 .. I feel he is good enough at small ball to find a larger edge than 57/43 in a classic race. Poker now a days seems to be more about “well I’m supposed to do this because it’s gto as if their is no other play available.. and losing playing gto is better than winning in any other fashion. Idk .... long run sure ... but right there man ... 25k ... “well he 3 bet so I gotta shove 10s n if he calls I’m flipping or crushed “ Like really ???? But I’m no pro so just my 2 cents.

This sums up poker so well. You start playing with a lot of motivation and enthusiasims. You navigate through the hands very well at first. You feel like you are playing sofisticately and have everything under control. And then suddenly you lose all your progress in 2 super unlucky hands leavng you bamboozled, enraged and tilted beyong belief. Poker is the most brutal game in the world.
@antibull4869Ай бұрын
Seems that it boils down to luck in the end. Sure skill will help you capitalize on that luck when it comes, but no amount of skill can overcome the negatives of having bad luck too.
@stevedownie1378Ай бұрын
The profit margin you have due to skill can be very slim and even occasional bad play due to tilt can make you a losing player. Poker is insanely difficult mentally. I played for 6 years and I think when not on tilt I was quite good but I didn't have the mental resilliance to handle the variance.

I've watched like 5 or 6 of these with him. He does the same thing every time. Fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, .... then all in with some crap hand, J8o, lol, for example. Now, after like 3 tournaments, he did start to play a bit, rather than just fold. However, just before he imploded today, I was just about to write, "here we go playing 10duce off, " but didn't want to be negative in the comments, and exactly 5 min later he was out. I've called it, 3 days ago too. It's so bizarre to me. He's done this multiple times this vacation. Now as a poker player, I'm a 5 on a scale of 1 to 100, and Daniel is [nowadays] a 90, [used to be 101], and he's my favorite player. I'm just starting my observations, and hope he wins one.

With all due respect you can't call off 20BBs with K10 suited because no matter what the opponent have there you are just flipping or slightly ahead. In this case it looks bad because he got him so dominated but the other guy could have easily had Ax or JQ , KJ, KQ or any random 10 8 or 8 9 kind of hand. We are flipping against most hands there. A fold there means that his A10 shove would not have got called next hand. Just saying.
@JBentham15233 жыл бұрын
