Honestly this video is super great for anyone moving out on their own! When I moved out of my parents I needed basically the same essentials and it’s kinda nice to have or see a list of things you need when moving on your own! Plus prepare and save for all of the purchases! Even if couch/bed furniture hasn’t arrived $$$ all adds up!

It's good that you got the memory foam mattress because when you end up moving or dont have a use for it, you can store it how it came and shrink it so that you can keep it and use it down the line as a guest bedroom mattress and you dont have to get rid of it since its will be easy to store unlike the mattresses with coils which are huge.

Don’t forget to buy some surge protectors for your more valuable items!!! Most people forget this step in the moving process, or they use 10-15yo ones that no longer protect from power surges! (They go bad after a few surges) They may seem “extra” or a waste of money, but trust me, I worked at a huge electronics store for over 6 years, and sometimes it is truly a sad disaster. I’ve heard enough horror stories. Save yoself💗

I am definitely strangely into aesthetically pleasing ice cubes. I like the spherical ones that are typically used for scotch drinks. However in my opinion, I believe that ice cubes add to the drink with texture and flavor. I don’t really ever voice my opinion on that, but I am a drink connoisseur and enthusiast so...lol

I also got my mattress off of Amazon. We lost everything in a fire and we ended up sleeping on a sleeper sofa for a few years cause the kids came first. Anyways, we got a 13 inch mattress and it's amazing! I had to get a pillow topper cause I have fibromyalgia and Chiari and everything hurts... ANYWAYS! I am in love with our mattress topper! We got the 3 inch gel infused topper called - LINENSPA 3 Inch Gel Infused Memory Foam Queen Mattress Topper. It's amazing! Like a squishy cloud.

Just a word of advice 😬 bacteria from your toilet can travel up to 6ft! If you have a smaller bathroom it might be better to keep your tooth brush in a drawer or the medicine cabinet :) But literally love this video and def will be ordering some of the kitchen stuff for my self!!
