In high school history my friend and I used morse code we had learned in boy scouts togive each other answers during exams. using apencil to tap out the codeon the desktop. It all seemed to be going well until we heard our teacher tap out D-E-T-E-N-T-I-O-N on his desk top.

Goobster it’s. It completely unbelievable, in high school me and my buddies used Morse code to insult our economics teacher tapping fuck this guy until one day he tapped back fuck you too. He became favorite teacher after that. I asked him where did you learn Morse code he said the military.

In school I was known as the artist guy who doodles everywhere. On my books, pencil case, rubber, even my desk. The teachers were lenient, because I was really good at drawing, and made my works crazy elaborate, so they haven't had the heart to make me erase them even from the desk. Thus, no one ever batted an eye at my desk being half filled with tattoo art and fictional letter like symbols. So, I've used this to include some actual info interwoven with my random art. As I've said, I was quite good. I've managed to make it crazy obscure, so only I could interpret it. Making letters half complete, vastly differing sizes, skipping a few, combining a few, making a few code letters, etc and no one ever figured it out, not even when they were looking directly at the doodle. I once wrote down half a textbook page's worth of info like this, and the joke was on me, because while I was figuring out how to disguide all those letters, I memorized the whole thing, so I didn't need to cheat after all. Who ever said that art wasn't useful for education?

I actually did #1 without a phone and instead used a huge piece of paper. Everyone was finishing up and the teacher never really suspected last minute cheats. When no one looked, I adjusted the partially folded paper to reveal the other answers. IT WAS REALLY RISKY I admit but it definitely paid off.

I created my own 50 character alphabet in the 7th grade and knew how to read it very well by 8th grade. My school made us use our folders to block our tests during testing and everyone usually doodled on their folders since we weren’t allowed to do so in our notebooks. I drew this picture with space ships on the bottom of my folder and included text within those spaceships, written in the very alphabet that I’ve created. What looked like an innocent drawing was actually a cheat sheet for the entire year. Cheated on all of my big exams with this method and never got a single glimpse of suspicion from any of my classmates, let alone the teacher, who ACTUALLY DID SEE THE DRAWINGS MANY TIMES and STILL didn’t bust my scheme. 7 years later, as I type this comment, I can now marvel at just how well I cheated my elementary school’s system and share this story with you all.

I had a teacher once that said we could have two 3x5 index card with answers on it and to write small. Nothing could be on the back of them...just front. I went in Microsoft Word and used the ruler to type out the test to the size of a 3x5 card and used the smallest font I could read (I think it was a 6 font), printed it out and cut it to size. Needless to say, I had the whole test with me.

I almost cheated once. I wrote all the formulas we needed to know on a small cheat sheet which I tucked into the pouch of my calculator (we were allowed those). The funny thing is that it took me several tries to fit everything in. So the next day, I found I had actually memorized the formulas whist trying to write the cheat-sheet.

Never cheated. Not worth it since you'll HAVE to have the knowledge to do the job. In our Chemistry finals (very early 1970's) we had the one student who was a definite First Class Honours chap - really good though very much the loner. He was the one who had a nervous breakdown right at the start of the exam, and was carted out by the Ambulance personnel. Imagine how the rest of us "lesser mortals" felt - "If the best have gone bonkers, we're all doomed" sums it up.

One of my teachers (now retired) told me a story once about an exam. They had a student teacher present so he was in charge of the class and exam that day and my teacher stepped out for a few minutes, confident the student teacher could handle it. She came back and caught two students cheating. Student A was sitting in front of Student B. Whenever B needed an answer, he'd tap A on the back. A would lower his hand to the side and finger spell the answer of the multiple choice, being careful to make the movements look like he was stretching, scratching or picking up his pencil. The teacher (who is fluent in ASL) took her time going back up to the front. At the end of the class, when all of the tests were handed back, she asked the class if they wanted extra credit. Of course they agreed and she said "Okay, can anyone tell me what this means for ten extra points" and finger spelled "I caught you", making sure to make eye contact to the two students. Needless to say, they flunked the class.

A college teacher of mine was pretty cool and it was a very early morning class. We were waiting outside the classroom for security to come unlock the doors to the room. We were joking around a little bit and the teacher said "You've probably got a cheat-sheet right here" and reached inside a guy's coat sleeve and coincidentally pulled his cheat-sheet out. For a second or two, the teacher was actually embarrassed, but finally the guy failed the test.

I have a similar story with TI83 calculator. I managed to create a program where I converted string of text into binary bits. I then used the binary data into picture. When pixel i on in grid 0*94, that represented 1. If it was off, it was zero. So basically, I had pictures saved in the calculator which appeared to be random garbled image. When I went to school a fellow student used a similar trick; but he didn't write his cheat sheet onto the table, he wrote it onto the black board in Cyrillic. The teacher assumed some evening class teaching Russian neglected to clean the board and didn't bother to wash it. But my favourite was: Remove the colour tape from a dot-matrix printer. Print the cheet sheet onto a blank page. If look at that page from the exactly right angle it is clearly legible, if you don't it looks like a blank sheet of paper. And all you need to destroy the evidence is to pull the sheet over the edge of the table.

In the 7th grade, I cheated on a Health/PE test by writing the answers on my shoes. The left shoe was dedicated to the first page and the right shoe was dedicated to second page. In order to see the answers I would just cross my legs, with the respective shoe sitting on my knee. Of course, the desk overlapped my legs a bit, so I had to sit back in order to see the answers. Even then, it didn’t draw any attention. When it came time for the next page, I would just cross the other leg. No one suspected a thing.

The logic being the mental workout of figuring out how to get away with cheating would be a far far more enlightening experience than learning about the migration patterns of Native Americans and such. Once accidentally cheated on a test. So, then the night before the test, I was revising a lot. I wrote down 'BIDMAS' on my palm so that when I wake up I would remember it. So, I woke up, but completely forgot about it. Then I went into the exam room, I did pretty well on the exam and all of that. In the last five minutes before they took away the papers, I was playing with my fingers, when suddenly, I see something blue on the bottom of my palm. Then I see the word 'BIDMAS' written in ink, but it's so faded away you can't really see it well. So, I quickly checked my paper one last time and corrected any mistakes I have written. Then, a teacher snatched my paper and took it with her. Then I realized she did that because time was over. I don't know HOW I didn't get caught!

I don't remember cheating on a test. But during a college U.S. History course I had a super awesome professor. The day before the exam she let everyone know exactly what was going to be on the exam, which was a lot of history. Anyways, she said we could bring one 3 x 5 card with us during the test and we could print anything we wanted. So taking all those notes that day I used the smallest legible font ,which for me was about 6 pts, and typed in a word processor and that's what I used. She also said we had to turn in the cards after the test. So hopefully I didn't ruin it for anyone else. 😈

I loved to use the TI 83 graphing calculators on exams. The teachers would all come around and do a command that was supposed to clear everything from the memory of the calculator so that you couldn't have any note/programs on the calculator. Unfortunately I loved the game that I had and so I found a way to stop them from being deleted, I then applied that to a program that I wrote which was just a giant cheat sheet. So once the teachers cleared the calculators, I simply had to go in and edit the program I had made and I could see all the notes. I never got caught.

I was not the best at that class so I still failed it. Everyone unanimously face palmed after the quize.

I remember when I had this teacher who uses Kahoot and can see who got what questions wrong/right. After getting 15/20 wrong, I asked him if we could take it again. He said yes. I made a Kahoot account to find the test on the Kahoot website. I found the answer sheet.

I cheated on tests by writing down the answers...in my brain :P Seriously, Spaced Repetition is a useful way of remembering and cheating is only going to make you fail later. FYI I find it rediculous that people cheated in spelling tests when they give you the words to remember before the test. You *literally* have the answers for the test!

Robo Tech devils advocate here but after the class is done most of the info is also. The schools aren’t meant to teach but to bread one way of thinking. Unless you remember all of what you leaned in high school & college & can ace each test you took today then your logic isn’t sound.

Kitten Mimi no one remembers everything, but some of it will stick. You remember how to do math don’t you? A certain amount of history as English/grammar? Think about it this way... during the time it takes to write down those answers on a rubber band or wherever, you’re actually learning that material aren’t you?

@Kaushik Reddy go on word, write up brief reminders of answers, reduce the font to 2.5 and reduce the line spacing to a point where you can read the text but there is little space between the lines, print them out and cut to about 1inch by 4inches, this should be a good size to role into a cylinder and push inside of a transparent pen. It's always in your hand and you can look directly at it when pretending to read a question. Of course, this shouldn't be used for formal exams.

Once in school, I'd given my book earlier, then i realised I wrote something wrong. I dared enough to take my book back and change it. The teacher was busy and I was very close to book that students couldn't even notice this. I didn't get caught (: I wrote and kept it back, haha

I cheated in grade school. Keep in mind I was very little. I was a bit lazy back then and we had a test on triangle types. During test time to avoid people looking at other papers and cheating, we would stand up empty folders between students. I wrote the answers on the inside of the folder flap. I managed to get a good grade and get away with it. That's the most I've done in terms of cheating

I used a really clever way to cheat. When thw school ended before the day we had test, i hided in the most secret spot in the school i knew, i waited untill they locked the school. I took my phone and opened locker from my biology class. I saw picture of 5+ math test from another student, took a picture of it, and got out of the window at down hallway. I came home and thats it-

My friend and I did the exact same thing for #25 on Spanish III exam le;l. Then In my first year of college, I made sure to wear a jacket that always exposed my chest, and this primed everyone to think that me wearing a more large one was just me doing me, but I really wrote all the answers on a paper on the inside of my jacket; I got called gay twice but it was worth it. Next, I plan to hide a paper with the asnwers to a European History test that I'll hide in my friend's dreadlocks so when we take the test, he can put it into a hidden area on his head that the locks obscure.

I regret cheating but what I’d do for example in math class for tests when I didn’t get it, I’d write down the questions from test on a notebook since we were allowed to just show the work there & my teacher would let us come after school to finish our test if we didn’t finish. So once I wrote all the answers I’d use the photo math app or google to find/solve the problem while in class for my other periods. Then once school was done I’d go finish my test by just looking at my notebook since all the answers where there lol. I did it a lot & it worked. Like I said tho I regret it since it just built a bad habit. Only me and some other dude would do this, it’s like both of us solved a way to finess the test. I knew he did the same shit since I had him in another period & he’d finish the answers in the same class. Now you may be wondering would my teacher come over to look if we were cheating? Nope because it was only like me or another kid or two in class and she’d be eating or being on her phone waiting for us to finish. But in class with 30 kids she’d walk around constantly. She wouldn’t notice I wrote the answers since I just wrote the answers on a different page
