rdavidr Great job! The drumming honestly was probably the most an interesting part of this video… There are like 1 million other drummers that would be way more bad ass that you should probably try to take video of. He’s not bad but he’s probably the most an interesting drummer I have ever watched. But your video skills are fantastic! Great job

David's playing is inspiring because it seems like it's actually attainable by mere mortals. While I love to watch the incredible chops of many of the drummers featured on Drumeo, I know that my playing will never come anywhere near their level. David's playing on the other hand is at a level that I can envision myself attaining...with work of course. His playing is impressive, interesting, creative and energetic. It's nice to have players like David to look up to.

bonus add on tip to the cymbal sleeve hack, tilters are USUALLY 6 or 8mm, (8mm being newer and more common) so if you need to restore a whole tilter from the bottom up, stop into your local hardware store and pick up a few 5/16"x1.5" fender washers, that will replace the washer at the bottom, then the tube size you'll need is a 3/8" (10mm) OUTER diameter, with about a 5/16 (8mm) inner diameter, being that cymbal holes are again USUALLY 3/8". top that off with a couple of felts, and either an m8x1.25 or m6x1 wingnut, depending on your stand, and there ya go. what gibraltar wants 6 or 7 bucks for, you just made for around 2.
