I just played The Lab for the first time yesterday after downloading it a few weeks ago and forgetting! Really enjoyed it, Valve is awesome, liked the Half Life Alyx-like whiteboard, nice touch :)

DCS World being a free to play game is the funniest misdirection that Eagle Dynamics pulled (unless you only want to fly the Su-25T, you have to pay money (74 euro per high fidelity aircraft. Also a HOTAS and all the peripherals you need to properly play the game will cost you even more)

Tried DCS World once, it's amazingly spectacular, but once I saw the DLC prices, I was like, holy cow... As for Google Earth VR, can't agree more, my whole family loved it. And with the street view, there's no end to what you can discover.

As someone pretty new to VR, I really appreciate this video. Downloading Propagation VR and Cosmic Flow as I watch the rest of the video. Also, The Lab is a fantastic free game. I keep going back to play the archery level, and it is what I use to show off VR to friends, because the graphics are pretty amazing even on my old 1060. Subbed. Speaking of older PC systems, I was actually searching for a list of good VR games for low end PCs. That would make a great KZbin video - hint hint. ;)

If you like the far from home game there's technically a better version of it haha, on vrchat there's a world called Spider-Lair and it involves more physics based swinging rather than the more grappling hook feel of far from home, it's a lot more intense and faster but super fun!

If I ever manage to convince them to take the VR headset on, do you have any recomendations on what I should show them? I'm thinking like some beautiful enviroment, maybe a sunset or something. Definitely try the Lab! It has beautiful environments and tons of minigames, playing with a robotic dog is super fun. Also Google earth, Oculus Quest has another pet game called Bogo VR pet simulator

dont touch dcs unless you are prepared to spend 5 to 15 grand on your setup. i have 2500 in the game alone and another 7k in my setup. it goes from 0 to 60 real quick with dcs

It's a crazy world we live in. I thought it was hard choosing between the myriads of VR games but now I find it hard to choose between FREE VR games. I'll go with either Aircar, Shattered Lights or Eye of the Temple. How much time did you spend with each of these games? you really played all of them?

I did manage to try them all :) even though I didn't spend wayyy too much time with the scary ones :P also the flight simulator was mostly tested by my partner since he';s more into flight sims than I am :D Shattered lights is soo atmospheric! Also try the Lab, incredibly entertaining! I guess it all depends on the genre you are most gravitated towards :)

@@jockjackson2994 personally, I have a quest 2 , and I prefer to buy from the Oculus store because some games are cross buy and I like the ability to also download a Quest version of a game if it is available. On the other hand, the games you buy on steam are not linked to your Facebook account, and a lot of people see it as a huge bonus if for whatever reason their facebook account gets blocked they still have games on Steam no matter what. Maybe it'll help you make a decision :)

These are PCVR games, they require a PC to work. Oculus has its own store of stand-alone games that do not require a PC. This store is different from the SteamVR store. PCVR games are generally of higher graphics quality because they use your PC GPU which is more powerful than the one in your Quest
