Some scientists believe that foods we eat or drink can attract mosquitoes. For example, orange juice or oranges, pineapple, bananas, cause specific scents to emanate from us and mosquitoes are drawn to them. They seem to know that the person who smells like those fragrances would have good tasting blood. I don't know how true it is, but when I stopped drinking orange juice and eating bananas, I rarely ever got a mosquito bite again. Something to thing about I guess 😉😊

I like books full of fun facts. Some UK newspapers also have little side columns of interesting stuff. Rich people after the 16th century had ice houses, where they stored ice for desserts. Then we got modern fridges and then everyone could have them...🍨🍦😋 The television series Miami Vice had the first flip mobile phones in 1989. Mike, I found that mosquitoes don't like vinegar. Once a week I rub it on and they leave me alone. Where before I was always getting bitten. I prefer the vinegar smell to being bitten.

Mike, to fight off mosquitoes, you can either start smoking, (I don't recommend) or chew some nicotine gum when mosquitoes are flying rampant. The mosquitoes will not bite you if you have nicotine in your blood.
