Here is the sprouts making process which I follow 1. Wash and Soak the green moong dhal for 5-8 hrs in normal water. 2. Drain the water well and put it in the casserole/hot box. Leave it. 3. After 12- 15 hrs u can see sprouts coming. 4. Pls feel free to shake the hot box then and there atleast 2 hrs once. 5. After 24 hrs of putting in hot box u can see sprouts around 1 cm or more. 6. If u want a longer sprouts take a cotton cloth , squeeze well with water and put it on top of that. 7. Pls change the cloth once in 12 hrs. Do this until u get the desired size of sprouts. U can keep it fridge with a lined cloth or kitchen towel in a box . Stays well upto a week.

Hi akka so for sprouts it is very easy to do it we can do it with pachai pairu, Karuppu sundal ,kambu so if we need for tomorrow then we yesterday night we have to soak it for 8 hrs and then the next day put that pairu in a cotton cloth and hang it in a rope or something 4 hrs once we have to just sprinkle the water then it will ready to use we can also make kuruma in that and we can take that for 2 day without keeping in refrigerator akka so this how my amma use to do akka

Very good options as usual and I have karuppu Uzhundhu kanji (with palm jaggery and coconut milk) on Saturdays and Karuppu kavuni arisi kanji on Sundays along with my children. These two recipes are so easy to cook too

@@vijuviju2512 well soak the urad dal with peel overnight. The next day grind it in a blender into a fine paste by adding more water gradually. Then heat pan, add the dal paste, add water and keep stirring until u get the right consistency. Add required jaggery syrup, keep stirring u til I get bubbles and at last add some grated coconut into it and serve hot. U can make karupu Kavuni arisi in the same method but u need not grind it. Instead u have to pressure cook it for about 15-20 minutes. Mash the boiled rice when it’s hot. Add ghee, jaggery syrup and grated coconut. Vera level taste a irukum

Thank u for so much of care on people sharmika. It's really unconditional. It's a life saver for me because I'm alreay giving most of these foods for my kids but people around me doesn't understand. They think that's they are all bland and not spicy or sour.Let it be. But I really believe that food we r giving in childhood have a great impact in their future.
