My dad has a bunch of 90s cars i learned to drive stick in a 80s ford f150 He has a 96 cadillac A 95 subaru legacy wagon A 02 ram 1500 98 silverado k1500 All great vehicles imo

My dad got a Tacoma when all his friends were getting rangers, they all had transmission issues and overall weren’t the best while his Tacoma only ever needed oil changes the entire time he owned it. Tacoma’s the move for smaller trucks

Actually 245HP was not max for the "regular C4" excluding ZR1's and '96 LT4's. The 1992-96 Corvette with the LT1 were all 300HP 340 Torque.

Hello mark, you do remember me from last video well now for this one let me say that mustang in the video is 94 to 98 as 99 was newer body style but also the sn95 chassis just so happens to be fox body too as those cars are getting more expensive day to day so now sn95 is next to be popular anyway thanks and have nice week by now.

got my eclipse 2g gs for 700 usd with free rodents in the engine bay!!! Absolute deal, this was about 2 years ago. Dream car and I had a feeling they would go up in price so I jumped on it. Shes almost done, she was in real rough shape mechanically. Body wise mint besides paint and the front bumper that we broke while putting it on the trailer... gonna build that thing up and rwd swap with a manual conversion. (buying an evo down the line so thats why imma keep the 420a in the eclipse)

For the SN95 and New Edge the motors had slight differences over the years but overall theyre all reliable and fun if taken care of properly. If youre going for reliable big power just throw a junkyard coyote in and boost that

HELL YEAH BROTHER CB7 LOVE (THE 4TH GEN ACCORD) My accord is the biggest pos out of all Accords but even with its issues (I have every obscure issue that requires hours of searching forums for fixes somehow lol) its still hella reliable and takes a beating. I do concede that the Porsche 944 is reliable. It is just a simple Volkswagen from the 90s after all, though it will require a bit more maintenance than something like a Toyota Camry of course.

All due respect to mark, but I wouldn’t buy anything on this list as a first car, these are all cool but will cost you time and money on problems you can’t afford to fix. Look for an old Camry or Corolla with 100-200k miles, they’re bulletproof motors. Keep up with oil changes and that’s all you will ever have to do. It won’t be a head turner but it will cause you the least amount of problems while you can save up for the next car, that’s the track im on and the plan is to have a bmw m340i in 2-3 years or so

It actually is a little contradictory that you argued that top speed isn't important as acceleration and handling but hate electric cars because based off the weight distribution of batteries and power capabilities of electric motors electric cars actually have great potential for being track cars in comparison to stock cars

I normally don't care when specs are wrong but, I had to respond. Two things, your mention of oil pooling in the Subaru engines. Huh?! I've owned 6 of them and "oil pooling" was never even mentioned. If anything you should have spoken to the ringlands as that is usually the issue with Subie motors. Secondly, the 2005 LGT had a turbo 2.5. It was the STi block EJ255. It was factory 250 hp. Edit - why did you post a 4th gen LGT from 2005? If referencing a 90's LGT that DID have 155 hp, you should have shown it. Ok, I am done geeking out.

I’ve been to many drag events in my life and all the guys there are incredibly smart when it comes to cars and how to build them. They would not like owning a Miata tho. There are just some ppl who enjoy different things in the car world and all I was tryna say is ppl need to be honest w themselves about that.
