So my Mamaw wanted something similar to the hanging ghosts you got. She is the queen of frugal. She found a old volleyball by the side of road and cut a old bed sheet in half (saved the other half for rags) put the sheet over the volleyball and colored eyes and a mouth with a sharpie. Boom, she got her ghost. It lasted for like 20 years, if the eyes faded she colored them back in.😂

"The Works" recently changed their toilet bowl cleaner formula. Used to be 20% hydrochloric acid and is now 9.5% with blue dye added. It doesn't really "Work" anymore. Method is a better choice.

If you haven't found them yet they're in the $1.25 portion of the refrigerator section. 3 flavors including 1. Polish 2. Smoked and 3. Hot. Really tasty pk of 2 full size sausage links just like they sell at other stores for $5. Go get them today because they're selling out fast. Every time I see them at DT I stock them up, stash them in the deep freezer and eat off of them for a while. They are vacuum sealed and I have yet to have a single one go bad on me.

The Awesome cleaner is literally the only thing that works on my kids' uniform pants. I spray the diluted Awesome, a drop of Dawn, and use a scrub brush (from Dollar Tree of course), and go to town. I get it's safer for kids, but shredded rubber tires on the playgrounds at school is murder on clothes. I am telling you though, that combo is a miracle worker. You can also scrub the pants/other stained items inside out to really make the stains go away quickly

I really like the wooden signs, but if it rains they don't hold up well. So I found by Spring some clear spraying some clear spray on the back sides and front, solve my problem! Now I'll be able to use the ones that I have bought for years instead of a year or maybe two!!!

I actually went to dollar tree yesterday with my mom and my son, my mom learned the lesson really fast not to let a toddler loose in the snack section. But what I would like to talk about are the pots and pans that my dollar tree has in the plus section, for five dollars they are surprisingly good quality they wouldn’t last years and you probably wouldn’t be able to slow cook something all day on your stove with them but they were surprisingly good quality for the price. The handles were screwed and they weren’t just stuck on there or anything and the pot even came with a matching lid and they were nonstick. I was very surprised at that

Haven't purchased any of their pots or pans now that they're $1.25 Tree. I do have some salad bowls & plastic bowls from years back that have held up very well (even with pasta sauce) & they're even dishwasher safe.

Not sure if anyone else commented and or went to dollar tree. The organic crushed tomatoes with basil are short dated Feb 2023. So stock up if you can use them in that time frame. I went and bought 8 to make spaghetti sauce and freeze it. I use meal prep rectangle containers to freeze them each with 24oz of sauce.

Mary here the reason the hearts of palm products did not sell in the regular stores is because they are being boycotted because of rainforest deep foresting to put in Palm farms for palm oil and for heart of palm they are also getting their water from the same Rivers that the villagers use downstream from them and they are drying up before it reaches the villagers and that is their only source of water unless they want to walk 10 km to a town to get out of a town well and walked 10 km home everyday

I keep a wreath hanger on all of our bedroom doors and switch out the decoration on it for all the holidays. They are cheap enough I don't feel bad about donating them right after and it's a simple way to decorate for every holiday and season

I love dollar tree. Unfortunately I live in the boonies and my dollar tree is the worst dollar tree in the chain. I’ve written to the main office several times and they don’t do a thing. Do not use the carpet refreshers with canister vaccums like dyson. The powder makes debri stick together. Canister work by keeps them separated so suction isn't lost. Also in the ball, it sticks in the curve near the ball.

@@matemahe yes. But anytime you use the powder, the "clumping", as I call it, gets stuck in spots and reduces the suction and once overheated my vaccum. Clumping works great to help older style vaccums pick up more, but for bagless or canned vaccums, it causes issues. If you want a fresh scent and you have one of these baccum, just use a refresh spray after vacuuming.

Before I retired I would buy Dollar Tree items to decorate my desk. They have door hangers that I would hang on the outside of my cubicle. I still have them and use them on the front door of my apartment. If someone decides it would look better on their door then I haven't lost much and can get another.

Mesquite is a tree. So the mesquite barbecue is smoked by that kind of wood. Same with Hickory. Different trees have different flavors.

Mesquite is a type of wood, it's what they smoke food with. So mesquite BBQ is flavored by smoking with that wood. Like apple wood bacon is literally smoked with apple tree wood. Although, in chips it's most likely a flavoring. But that's where the original flavor comes from.

Mary on Richard's phone instead of febreze which I cannot stand I use OdoBan you can smell it when it goes on but it disappears and it's safe for all animals that when they jump on your couch and lick their paws it's not going to make them sick like febreze does because of the band is mostly used for dogs and kennels and stinky cat boxes

I really like those glass cleaner wipes to keep in the car. Where I live (near the beach) we park on the street and can't always park in front of our own houses, and even now we've been getting overnight/morning fog. So those wipes are handy to have in the car to wipe off the windows before leaving.

Those mini chocolate marshmallow cookies taste like smores if you pop one in the microwave for 6-7 seconds. Just watch it closely, when the marshmallow puffs up and chocolate splits pull the door open. Soooo yummy!

I found that the Febreeze dupe doesn't work. There's very little smell and it doesn't freshen at all. However, I buy a box of fabric scent beads at DT and add them to the bottle and IT'S AMAZING!

We paid about $25 from Amazon for the hearts of palm brown rice! I’m hoping that we get it here in Southern California, but I doubt it. We get things months later. If at all. Be sure to add the butter or oil at the end. It really changes the texture. We like it and it’s Lo carb
