The world is built upon layers and that sinkhole discovery in China is interesting, but I hope for everyone's sake that they left it alone and plugged it up. Wishful thinking I know, but still. It survived all this time and should be left alone

What are you talking about? Discoveries of ancient human skulls, cave paintings, dinosaurs, etc.... teach us a lot about the world and where we come from.
@nomasklargecal572615 күн бұрын
@titmusspaultpaul5 Does that better us? We seem to only utilize modern "discoveries" as we go forward.. so maybe we can let some life go unbothered? Might not hurt to let life, live.

Your chapter titles are switched between this one and the other "amazing facts" video you posted the other day. Love your work though!
@Eminems_woman_4_lifeАй бұрын
That's what chapters are. They're different. That's why novels have different chapters with different headings to them, so people can identify the different parts of the story. And that's exactly what Mike is doing. He is saying in his headings for his content that these are dark facts. These are amazing facts, and these are facts that sound made up but are actually real. His not going to put dark facts amongst amazing facts and vice versa, which wouldn't make any sense. Plus, to keep the subscribers that he already has and to gain more subscribers and viewers, he has to keep his content interesting by having different facts to teach us with

Love your show Mike and it's great to see you back after taking a few years off. However, one thing I struggle with is your continuing use of the old imperial system when speaking of various measurements. Only 3 countries - the U.S. Liberia and Myanmar have refused to modernise and go metric. Instead of catering to the ~5%? (That's a guess) of diehards who refuse to join the 21st century please think of the majority who are either sick of converting while watching the show or have no idea what of you are talking about. I could be wrong here but, aren't you Canadian?
@list25Ай бұрын
1) We do use a mix of imperial and metric. 2) No I'm from Florida, which I've mentioned many times so I have no idea how this rumor of me being Canadian even started.

About that communication, Way way back in time, (I wasn't even in my teens) My brother and I were in foster care for a while. There was another kid in there that developmentally disabled, my brother and I were always willing to play with anyone as long as they weren't aggressive. The DD kid had communication and coordination issues, so the games we played with him was pretty much just rolling a ball back and forth, and all he could say was "I jie jie" and move his hands around. Yet somehow, if you paid attention, you would get a good grip on what he was trying to say. It got so that the foster parents would come and get my brother and I whenever he was acting up and they couldn't figure out why.

For the last one, were the researchers expecting them to think the exact words that were stated in the podcast? That wouldn't make sense to me. When I'm listening to a podcast, or a youtube video, I'm not repeating what is being said in my head, I'm reacting to it. So what was analyzed seems like a reasonable response to what was said and the device may have been spot on.
