These takeoffs are quite impressive but they look EVEN MORE impressive in real life. The core exhaust usually gives off a ghostly blue glow (almost like a dim afterburner) which most cameras including my camera have a near impossible time catching, other people have told me they’ve seen this phenomenon too so it’s not just me.

Every aircrafts are light offs after switch the gear up and/or down. It’s automatic light off/on afterward.
