I've been designing for years and just today I have to admit I was stuck with just this problem. I had a design, I liked the idea, but for the life of me I couldn't get the layout right. It was as if I'd forgotten everything I'd learned over the years. I just couldn't wrap my brain around it. I turned off the computer and went for a walk (it's already night here where I live). Cleared my head, turned on the PC and bam! There it was, right there in my head! 15 minutes of fixing the design, done! Should've headed over to KZbin and watch this video. Could've saved myself a walk in the dark. 😂

before watching .... this will be the best video in your channel , because when i stuck in what the layout of my design will be ... i go to your detour shirt store in teepublic and get some inspiration from your beautiful designs layouts depending on the shape of the vector if its circle, character, square, little round and the length of the phrase to make the final design look perfect and attractive ... thanks for this video. and i hope you do another video about the fonts you are using from adobe fonts because i know you always use santelia and mix it with other fonts and college fonts for sports designs .. hope you do video about that .

I love this video and videos about design fundamentals for shirt design in general. Right now my designs are all centered. But I am interested in seeing some asymmetrical design options as well. I think there is a separate design philosophy for making text only designs look good. They could have some embellishments as well as the text, but no big main central graphic.

Juna, When I design a shirt, I make it for a light-colored shirt and a dark-colored shirt. Then, I make each of those in a Grunge look. I am worried that I am giving people too many options. Is this the wrong approach? Any advice?

Yeah... I think light and dark yes... I don't know if you ned a grunge and not grunge option. Just pick grunge or not grunge and stick with it for that design.
