I got lost @ 8:06 the SVG file was opened into Affinity Designer Software, dragging it into the artboard will look weird. This little segment threw me off badly, I had to turn the CC caption to read the "artboard". I could not hear the pronounciation of ARTBOARD. Be aware that not all sellers use illustrator or photoshop or canva and kittl. I use inkscape for vector and Paintshop Pro for photo editing neither of these later apps have artboard, if they do the name is different. But the video still good to grab the concept of processing for the final product for listing.

Juna, this is AMAZING, yet another incredible video tutorial from you (I've been binging!). This is the type of detailed work I want to do for my shop designs, but find that so many people are just plopping designs "as is" on t-shirts and getting sales, so I've felt discouraged to do this. Do you find that taking these extra steps pay off in the long run in terms of sales? I come from a Graphic Design background myself, so this method makes SO much more sense to me.

Hmmmm.... Well I would actually do the research.... Kittl will actually give you more than just designs. It's a whole design app. So if you like the kinds of templates they have I would say Kittl is a better value.

Excellent tutorial, you have a new subscriber to your channel. 👍 Very well explained, very inspiring and you introduced affinity to be a very interesting graphics software, which I've never tried before. As a graphic designer I want to tell to people to experiment with more graphics softwares. There are some Excellent ones out there. Adobe illustrator is Not the only graphics program as many designers are claiming. I am using CorelDraw for years. CorelDraw is the great opponent of illustrator. You forgot to mention CorelDraw in your video. I ve tried both illustrator and Corel. Corel is more easier to learn than Adobe's. Also the best thing was You have proven that graphic designers will never lose their jobs, as some stupid people might saying. Ha ha 😂 Ai art is not perfect and will never be. A Human creativity and touch is necessary everywhere. And those who believe that everything is automated by Ai they are wrong. Because if someone doesn't know how to edit a picture properly in Photoshop or work with vectors editing, they can not achieve anything. I've seen some people's videos who are generating Ai images and they just throw them as they are, into several sites to sell them to make money. They have the Wrong mentality because when someone will buy their images one day, and he realized later that the picture has flaws and artifacts that haven't been edited or removed in Photoshop, then the customer will realize that was cheated and he will never come back to these people to buy more of their pictures. They think that doing things fast will be successful, but no, it will be the opposite. So each time you guys generate an Ai image, make sure you sacrifice time on editing in Photoshop at least 30 minutes to 1 hour, each. I am glad you showed in your video the correct way and process of doing designs that sells! Very good job. i liked your tshirts! 👍😮

If the image is a vector at 4500x5400 it already has the right dpi.... I am using the CMYK color space but when you save it, it will be a PNG that is in the RGB colorspace.

Not exactly. Vectors can be sized up and down with out loss of quality but you will still need to export it at 4500x5400 so that is is big enough for print on demand and is about 300dpi when printed.

Thanks for the great tutorial! I'm wondering how you get such "on point" artwork from AI prompts. I'm using Leonardo and I always get a lot of extra artifacts that I don't want from my prompts. Example: If I were to prompt for two ducks fist bumping, cartoon style. I'd get something like the ducks fist bumping with hats and clothing on standing in front of a pond with added elements that are not necessary. How do you get such a precise image? or do I need to get ChatGPT 4 with the sticker whiz GPT to get those results?

So to take designs from Leonardo to a coffee mug or T-shirt, we need to use software like AffinityPhoto, right? Canva, Kittl or Creative Fabrica will not work, correct? Seems like there's always another piece of the puzzle missing. That's hard on a 66 year old fart trying to make a buck, but really enjoy your videos.

Actually you need more than that.... if you are upscaling you will need something like DGB.lol, then you will need to remove the background. You could remove the background with AffinityPhoto or Canva or Kittl.... if you are vectorizing instead of upscaling then you would need a vectorizing tool like Vectorizer.ai or something similar then you could use a vector graphic app like Affinity Designer, Illustrator or something similar.
