@ Bethany, I wish I could send you some pics of some things I struggle with. I had cancer several yrs ago and had radiation that was centered at my neck but it was also a "bloodstream" pill radiation ... Before that I could organize ANYTHING but the treatment affected my ability to organize and I get even depressed trying. I have three children, 11,4 and 2 and I get so overwhelmed. I would love some directions on getting my ducks in a row. I appreciate, so much, everything you share. For people like myself, it is more than "cool ideas" and hacks, they TRULY help! Thank you, kindly

Oh my goodness that curtain rod hack would have been so great in college! Our dorm room had a streetlight that shown straight into our window and the built-in blinds didn’t block the light at all. Having something that could hold a curtain rod and attach to those cinderblock walls would have been a game changer 😂 (🍇)

When you were talking about the window film it made me think about what I did about 26yrs ago when we moved into our house. We have a back door that had a window where the neighbors could look right into our kitchen. I used toothpaste (not gel) and it worked just like that film. Later I took it off and used clear caulking spread around with a toothbrush and it is still on that window today. I love watching your hacks! 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

To stop items from going under the couch cut a pool noodle to the height of the opening and slide it back a few inches or enough so it’s not visible. The thing won’t go all the way under😊

Great hacks Bethany! I especially like they plastic bag storage! I’m in CT and in my little city, business are no longer allowed to use plastic bags, we have to bring our own and sometimes the stores have paper bags. I sure miss the plastic bags they were great for small trash cans and dirty diapers!
@leahrowe847 Жыл бұрын
We have to buy ours @ $.08 ea, which sure adds up, but at least they improved the quality & they're 10x as thick. They're gonna raise the price to $.20 I heard, since it didn't slow consumption like they hoped... what they don't understand is how much we reuse those damn bags. It's highway robbery, even with using cloth ones bc we still want/need those stupid plastic bags sometimes. I'm thinking about looking on Amazon for a bulk source & taking my own everywhere, if I can find some cheaper 🤔

I too have a tiny kitchen... 3 people and it is crowded. The home I live in, my grandfather built in 1964 since the old homestead, right next door is a 3 story, 2 apartment home. Gram said she wanted a smaller home, and he took her literally, ...VERY literally... The under sink wooden rod is a great idea, I did the tension rod, but it was a mega FAILURE!!! Love the drawer organizer... I am a scarf COLLECTOR... 😂 but Aldi's had a rather large one which I purchased and placed 3 folded scarves, placed back-to-back in each square, so you can see each one. Best thing I have done for myself to keep all my scarves organized. I still have several leftovers but, finding a smaller one is on my list to add to the drawer. I also did a privacy film in my bathroom... it faces the rear of the house, and my new neighbors gather in the driveway turnaround which is on my property... not my choice it was written into the deal with the two houses since my grandfather built the home I live in right next to the older homestead. So, I am stuck with the turnaround issue. I just open the window from the top down to let air in during seasons where it is not too hot to do so. I really loved this this video. Thanks so much, got the link to BeFunky FOR PRINTING LABELS!!! loving it since I have reorganized my kitchen cabinets! I just need suggestions for a couple REALLY DEEP cabinet and drawer. Each on is PERFECTLY SQUARE about 14" W, D, & TALL. The cabinet is too high and I need a step ladder to see exactly what is in there!

Love the hack for hanging things. Thank you! If you look behind anything I've hung, I promise you'll see at least 6-8 holes. :( I reuse my plastic bags to pick up dog poo. I walk my two dogs at least once a day so I need at least 14 bags a week. I'm always asking neighbors for any extra bags.

I wash my knee highs and trouser socks with my work clothes. My husband does the laundry and would tie pairs together with a tight knit in the middle. Yea, I don’t know what he was thinking. This year I bought some sock liners. They are so cool but tiny. I broke out a small delicates bag and clipped to my dresser. All the liners, knee highs, and trouser socks go into the bag. To say this is life changing isn’t enough. No more knots! No more missing mates. Definitely try this one!

You’ve come up with some really clever and unique storage workarounds. I don’t have a linen closet so I watch your hack videos closely to see if you have any suggestions for ways I can store towels. I asked another creator and one of her commenters suggested a CD tower. I had to wonder how thin her towels are 😂. I love the grocery store bag storage idea! I will definitely be using this idea but I will put it on my boys room near our changing table, I use the the bags to put poop diapers, and then take to the outside trash can. I had a bag from ulta hanging on the doorknob but it finally broke so I needed a new storage for the bags. I will hanging on the back of the door on the side of a dresser, that we use as our changing table.

Thank you for sharing so many useful and practical ideas! I especially appreciate that the ideas you offer are quick, easy and affordable to implement. I find you so relatable as you also have limited space within your home to organize and store things, like you showed with your craft supply cabinet, as I also do not have the space within my home to designate an entire space to a craft room or home office. You’ve become my first resource when I’m faced with the need to create a system that will provide functionality that fits seamlessly into my space. I have been able to find the inspiration to find ways I can still have it all, and in such a way that allows for me to create calm amongst the chaos as I have been able to maintain functionality as well as keeping the overall style and aesthetic of my home. Thank you so much for all the work you put into your channel! You are so appreciated! PS - I can’t leave without saying how cute your little guy is! I love the toy story theme in his room, especially the walls with the clouds, just like the movie! So cute! ❤️
