Tray on the bins game changer! Also for anyone who doesn't have the space for the length of that egg container. Dollar tree has a white, plastic, square bowl in the kitchen section... That bowl holds one dozen eggs perfectly and it has a smaller foot print so it takes up less shelf space

Awesome thanks! I live in an apartment and my fridge is really small, so I'm going to look for that bowl cause I put my eggs in an egg storage container right now.

Hi Bethany! I just wanted to say thank you so much. My family recently moved houses, and we're not exactly wealthy, not even middle class. So our house is tiny, and I'm the one that takes care of it. I clean house, while the rest go to work. I'm a bit of a clean freak, and I love having things organized and visually appealing. Since we're poor, we don't have much storage in our tiny house. But we also can't buy expensive organizers. I am so happy I found your channel a few months ago. You have helped us so much. Between the creative genius behind your original hacks and the inexpensive supplies, my house is organized thanks to you. I honestly think that you deserve 1 mil more than most people on this platform. Thank you for being such a big help.

So many cool ideas! Combining a bin with a tray as a top is brilliant. As far as the fridge, I like to put my eggs in one of those plastic containers. A)You can see what you have. B)The eggs are more protected. And C)Since it is a hard container, you can put something on top of it if you need to.

You have some great ideas here! I use the Dollar Tree dry erase markers for dates on my plastic containers. As long as you write on the smooth parts you can easily rub it off with a dry cloth or paper towel. Make sure you write on an area you won't be handling much because it can rub off quite easily. I do this most often for leftovers so I know how long they've been sitting.

I use behind the door hanging metal rack in my master closet for extra hygiene items. It allows me to keep extra items in my house with NO storage to speak of - tampons, soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer, razors etc. Has been a blessing especially with Covid. Also allows me to take advantage of great sales on items we use often. I have another behind my pantry door. It's a small pantry so has allowed me to increase the space the entire size of the door. Wish I could attach pictures for you.

I love getting your perspective on solutions to frustrating and disorganized areas! I’ve been dealing with my unsticking, curled up labels by just pressing them back down EVERY TIME I use my pantry containers. Lol. It’s literally madness. Your solution is so simple and smart. Thanks girl. For your cleaning closet hanged items, try using a Jot metal book ring through the opening that you put on the hook. I used to use ribbon or cord to make a loop, but the book ring was easier. Keep doing what you do! C’mon Million!!!

I love organizing my fridge. it makes cleaning it out so much easier, and things don't get lost in the back. I recently bought a 2nd fridge, which I have in the house...the old one in the garage died, and I just couldn't pay so much for something to put out in the garage....lol, so yes, it's in the kitchen area also. I bought 6 of the soda can keepers, and it's like having our own drink machine. I love opening the door and seeing the drinks so organized, and I can see what we need for the next grocery visit. Every time my son comes home, he makes a b-line for the fridge for a drink. So spoiled.

We actually keep cereal in the candy jars on our counter + it stays fresh for at least 3 weeks - and that's about how long it takes us to go through it! 😊 Also if you're family is into berries and you find them getting moldy before you use them up - try the DT jars with the black plastic lids Put a small sheet of paper towel at the bottom and pour the berries in. Do not wash until you want to eat them as it's the moisture that speeds the mold process. 😊 We do it for blueberries and raspberries and I get a good 2 weeks! Great tips! Blessings!

@@abnormalynn7885 that's sounds great... I think since depends on where you live in the US. It's really dry here still in NC. so that will probably work right now but soon the humidity will arrive and that changes everything for us - it's hard to keep anything - with our without sugar from molding when the humidity completely invades! I'm going to have to try this though before the humidity strikes! Thank you for the suggestion!

I'm glad you mentioned the expiration date! That's something that I think people often forget when organizing their homes, and it can be very unsafe! to answer your question about the egg containers and the like, I definitely think more like your husband. The point that you made about being able to see how many eggs you have is a fair one, but you probably have to take it out of the fridge to see all the sides anyway, so the only extra step I have to take is opening the carton, which I am completely fine with

I like the idea of using the cleae bin for stacking but it also takes up space inside the bin. So you can store and much inside. Maybe a flat serving tray from the party section would fit flat on top if these bins? Something to try out in store. Also I love the broom stick holder thing! For the hook on it you could always add a looped piece of string/twin through the hole of your item if it doesn't fit directly over the hook!.
