Considering it a win just to have an encounter with a big buck. I’m probably hunting some of the same areas as Carl, and he’s right.

I don’t get why I keep seeing ppl say cameras are banned in MO.. They are banned on specific conservation areas and it’s usually posted with a sign stating that they are banned on that piece but I don’t believe they are banned throughout the entire state..

I have 40 acres in eastern ky if someone is interested in hunting it. It’s been all hacked and squirted in the big woods of Appalachia. All Oaks , persimmon apple trees and a lot of diversity..

When can I come and check out property & hunt ! From central NC outside of Raleigh wake county! I’ve hunted Kentucky when I was younger with a friend that had a mountain 🏔️ and it was most fun hunting I’ve ever experienced compared to the flat lands I live on and the gaps , gullies , hollers , draws , ridges saddles etc. it is a whole different kind of hunt and the deer are twice as big in weight and horns !

@cray-z7404 nice, let that thing grow, haha. I wish I could be out there right now. I've got a mature buck I'm itching to hunt. Big heavy track, im excited. Here in NC, the hunting and buck size is a little different than west hunting👍 goodluck

Crazy how different hunters say vastly different things on how they hunt. I hear a guy saying if you go into an area you probably won’t kill there if you go in again.. Then a guy like Justin Wright says go in and jump him from his bed then hunt him the next day.. Hard to know whom to follow..

It’s all about where you hunt , high deer numbers let’s you get away with dumb shit! I pressured property let’s you get away with dumb shit! Ag country type areas let’s you get away with dumb shit!

I just don’t see the benefit of one sticking besides carrying 2 or 3 less sticks lol.

I thought the same thing, but it ended up being a big advantage being able to go as high as I want in a tree. In gun season we will get 30-40' high to be able to see down into pine thickets and grown up cutovers.
