When I find a fresh annual scrape I ALWAYS take a good ol shit right directly in the center. This makes the buck think there is a challenger who can take bigger dumps. Comes back in to check it daily and thats when you put a fling stick through him. 60% of the time it works everytime

Im accessing public on an old cart road with blowdiwns covering it intermittently and 4 scrapes have been opened there but only 1 is an annual scrape. Theres alot of pressure in here and im only 100-150 yards from a road is it worth sitting close to those if its a heavily trafficked area?

It could be worth a shot. If you don't see any deer they may only be using the area at night. Maybe then you could investigate deeper into the cover to try to get close enough to catch them moving in daylight.
