This 25-min yoga class is intended to work your whole entire body leaving you with Feel-Good Energy. There is a focus on digestion with many twists to help release tramped wind and gas. It's a sequence that will leave you feeling lighter and stress-free after the holiday chaos and indulgence.
Most twisted asanas help to squeeze your liver and aid in detoxification. Twists also target the area below the ribcage where our digestion happens, so you many go to the toilet a little easier after today's flow..
Together let's release full body tension, and build heat after a lazy Christmas and Boxing Day. And it will help relieve that bloated, gassy stomach from all the overindulging.

We will be enjoying all the benefits that twisty yoga asanas can provide, with poses like:
- Standing wide-legged forward fold with a twist
- Twisted goddess
- Twisted high lunge
- Twisted plank - knee to opposite elbow, to create heat.
We will end the class with some lovely long holds in Gomukhasana (cow face) pose, finally ending in a seated meditation to finish off in a peaceful and present way.

Nice gentle class, Candi, thank you 🙏 During the 3-legged DD with knee to elbow, I was expecting so hard that you cue EPK1 and EPK2 (I always confuse them ; I think EPK1 is the easiest for me, which is flying scissors)... I am too conditioned by the rocket classes😉 (but did them nonetheless😎). No affirmation for me, but the movement that feels good in crescent lunge is to do kali mudra with the hands, it is so powerful, and I find it offers more stability to the lunge 😉

I love Kali Mudra in Crescent Lunge as well, Karine, it makes the pose feel so powerful and stable. It's awesome that you always choose to follow your body and flow. Epk 1 or 2 would have been a great add-on for the knee-to-elbow taps. 🙌
