People fight over every aspect of nutrition, except one: We need lots of "nutrients."
Cool, cool.
But hold up, what are "nutrients," exactly? What does "nutrient-dense" or "nutritious" actually mean?
Defined & Explained in simple terms here.

15:52 minutes in and i just wanted to say a huge thanks on behalf of everyone and everything. Thank you for your valiant effort to making such high quality knowledge for free. Such an inspiration. Also, the comedy is commendable. Thank you so much Doctor Andy Galpin. I will be filtering through as many of your videos in the next few days, in hope that I can extend your mission, and passion. George.

Dr Galpin is so cool. I've been studying this stuff since 1978, and seriously since 2013 - but so many studies are behind a paywall, just like he said. It looked like Paul Allen RIP was going to solve that ...to ramp up collective knowledge and compounding experience. Not sure what happened. Deep respect and gratitude. Also to Dr Huberman who tipped me to this man.

I'm guessing collectively the AMA, NIH, CDC, WHO, all seem to want us to know and think exactly what they want us to know and think. But hey it pays the rent!

I have been watching your videos hand got a lot of valuable information. Thank you for making these videos. I have a suggestion or maybe request. Can you talk about tendon and ligament? All I know is that they recover and strengthen much slower than muscle. Some people said it is because they do not get as much blood flow as muscle. This may become a problem in some exercise that put a lot of load in joint such as in high end calisthenics. It also become a concern for people with history of joint injury like shoulder dislocation.

I would like to see this covered as well. From a performance perspective, it would be great to understand the developmental timeline of strength vs connective tissue resiliency. @Andy Galpin

Where does alcohol fit here? It is a macro by your definiton. it is an energy substrate like carbs, but it has its own metabolic pathways/systems like fructose and ketogenesis.
