Join me for this quick WALK & TONE DUMBBELL WORKOUT and let`s get some steps in, burn some calories, and get a full body tone in just 25 minutes! This workout features full body compound moves that will help you tone your muscles! Feel free to replace the walking sections with running, or with your favorite cardio moves (skipping, squat jumps, burpees, high knees, butt kickers, whatever you prefer...)!
I'm using 2 x 3 kg dumbbells in this workout. Make sure you adjust your weights and pace to suit your fitness and energy level.
Warning: Always be mindful of contracting your core and keeping a straight back whenever you do any sort of forward bend! I don`t want anyone to get hurt! Just go as low as your body allows and do slow and controlled moves! Don't force things!
REMEMBER: You can always change the pace or intensity of all my workouts to suit your mood or energy level for the day.

Another good workout! I really like the alternating strength and cardio moves! I did squat jumps and running in place instead of walking! Good upper body strength moves and love the moves with lunges! Thank you so much always Andrea!

U posted this yesterday but I worked night shift so I did today... I used a 5Lb 8Lb and 10Lb set with one 12Lb dumbell for single dumbbell moves... I put my Samsung watch 4 on general workout mode and kept track of my before and after steps... i burned 235 calories and walked 2,202 steps... Loved this I am seeing more definition all over but i really needed it in my upperbody... Thanks BG...

Workout #2: 1st I did the Christmas pilates workout for the core posted today... According to my Samsung Watch 4 set to general workout mode I burned 303 calories and completed 1,925 steps... I did this workout before and this time I burned more calories but walked less steps... I mostly used an 8Lb dumbbell set but a few moves I used 10Lb and for 1 single dumbbell moves I used 12Lbs... I consumed only 16oz of water and then switched over to my smoothie which is same as yesterday... Today's green smoothie is red cabbage spring mix pineapple banana cherries flax & chia blended with water... I have already consumed 64oz of water so far... OK off I go to take shower and take my mom to appointment... It's gonna rain all day here in Southeastern Pennsylvania 🌧

How do you track these walk and tone workouts? Are they cardio or strength training? I'm trying to figure out the most likely calorie burn. I'm assuming cardio because of the intervals keeping the heart rate up.

I use walking mode on one of my bands and freestyle on the other 😁 some people use mixed cardio.
