Agree with what you have said about Dubrovnik. My suggestion is to visit Dubrovnik in early spring (end of March and April).

Dont go anywhere east or south of Alpes in hot summer,those places are wet and hot,total disgusting weather

You're probably white, with skin that the sun peels easily. I love lounging on the Mediterranean beaches in July with 35°C heats. I recommend it to anyone who can handle it
