Lavenza’s voice changed in this scene. Listen to her before 11:40 and after. It’s like her voice drops a couple of octaves. She starts sounding older. Almost like they had to redo a recording session or something. How has no one else commented on this?

I think her voice changes most times depending on the mood like in playful scenes such as the beginning of this video and when she visits your room she has a lighter tone to her voice but during serious scenes she talks in a deeper tone

I always think that Maruki is actually given a false god in the form of a persona instead of actually awakening a persona. Remember the Jails in P5S used nearly the same mechanics as well, I doubt this is a coincidence.

I'd say he did awaken but, either had a distorted world view when it happened and gaining a persona never changed that. But yeah his palace is more like a jail with the type of person he is.

Little known fact about Personas: they're all gods, in a way. Igor in Persona 1 has stated that Personas are powers taken from gods and demons that take form in the Collective Unconscious. It's why despite them representing their user's personality, even sometimes changing shape depending on the user, they still have their own individuality. For example, if someone were to have a Persona named "Yaldabaoth", it would likely take the shape of the Yaldabaoth the Phantom Thieves fought, with mostly the same personality.

If you completed Maruki's confidant, you should know him by now. He's the type of guy to run away from his problems and is jailed by his past. His farewell speech to the students is what alarmed me that there's more to him. I haven't heard anybody in my entire life who preaches to people that it's okay to run away from their problems.

Another plot twists make me dizzy but I like it plot twists. Actually the real sequal story is Persona 5 Royal, it's complete plot and story, but first persona 5 actually subsequal or incomplete story just like pokemon games like pokemon ruby and sapphire is actually subsequal story, so the real story actually pokemon emerald, that's my theory different plot between real story sequal and subsequal incomplete story. Actually kasumi or sumire is canon story before continue sequal persona 5 scramble or striker.
