Based on the wording, they seem to be counting it as a reboot. They are looking at the wizarding world of Harry Potter, so in their mind, this movie is a reboot of the wizarding world. It may have also been included simply because it is a controversial/disappointing movie like the others on the list. Plus, they have The Hobbit in this list as well, so they are including these two prequels as sequels and/or reboots.

@kenninast4 жыл бұрын
@@micahtisdale7968 The Man in the Iron Mask was quite a good movie indeed. Nearly as good as the Richard Lester musketeers trilogy. The only thing that I cannot get my head around: when turning the story into a movie, why just do a part of it? The Man with the Iron Mask is just a part of the novel "The Vicomte of Bragelonne: Ten Years Later." Which brings me to the obvious: There should be a 3 season TV show with the complete trilogy of the Three Musketeers, as Dumas (pr: DUMA) has written it. First: the novel "the Three Musketeers" (which has already been filmed as "The Three Musketeers" and "the Four Musketeers") Second: the novel "Twenty Years After" Third: the novel "The Vicomte of Bragelonne: Ten Years Later." And even though I really do not like that terrible language at all, this HAS to be done in French. French musketeers who talk English all the time? That's just way too weird...

Hollywood has been scraping the bottom of the barrel for a long time, now. So long, in fact, pieces of the *BARREL* are coming up. Nothing *really* original has come out for awhile, now. Reboots, remakes, jumpscares, heavy CGI, and superhero movies til ya wanna puke.

Fantastic Beasts WAS an attempt to capitalize on Harry potter and the sad thing is - Rowling has forgotten how to write. And fantastic beasts was her attempt to continue writing potter when potter was finished.

I'd like a Robin Hood remake IF they keep with the heart of the story and to lease fas, have it in the same universe. This is because many fans would love the idea of Nick Wilde being a descendent of Robin Hood (some even want Judy to be descended from Thumper). Keep the feel of the original and use the artistic style of Zootopia.

Episodes 1-3 are better than 7, haven't seen 8 (and don't WANT to, due to the tripe that I've heard came out of it - including all of the obvious women's lib crap that was shoved down our throats in it (none of that crap of blatantly forcing lgbt on the audience belongs ANYWHERE in Star Wars, or any other movie, for that matter), and I heard that Solo was just as bad. Now, Rogue One, that one FELT like the original Star Wars, and was a pretty good inclusion in the SW universe. BTW, SW Legacies should STILL be canon, as it originally was, until Lucas decided to change his own histories, starting with Ep.1.

Sorry I disagree with some of your reasons, I loved all 3 of the Matrix films, and watch them quite often. I also enjoyed the Indiana last movie, the reason is quite simple, it's not real it's a movie that is just for enjoyment. I am from Great Britain, where on a Sunday afternoon on the TV they would show some old film of the 1930s 1940, and 1950, and I loved them all no matter what. I mostly loved the American musical, with Judy Garland, Doris Day, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire etc etc, these musicals were pur fantasy, where Judy Garland would start to sing on the bus/tram with a full orchestra playing somewhere and with enough room to have a kind of dance routine, or Doris Day, would be walking her horses dressed in buck skin, singing once again with that invisible full orchestra. I'm sure there were people that would say "that's not true to life, you don't have an invisible orchestra when you sing" and it's right you don't, but film/ movies are as far as I'm concerned pure escapism, to take you away from your life for a couple of hours, so as long as it's not a vile horror movie like "SAW" or the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre " can't watch them or any like that, I enjoy movies because they take me into another realm for an afternoon or an evening, and I for one am grateful for being able to watch them in the comfort of my own home, on my DVD player.

none of those were remakes, reboots, or sequels. They were big-screen adaptations from television series. Those could make up an entirely different list. Starsky and Hutch, Dukes of Hazzard, The Honeymooners, etc. All absolute rubbish.
@LeeHicks5 жыл бұрын
@@krystalskye949 , I believe that anything that takes an existing approach and storyline, and converts it, even moving from TV to the big screen, is still by nature a remake. The medium may differ, but it's still the process of taking an existing franchise and characters, and remaking them for the big screen. Yes, they were big-screen adaptations from television series, and they were still remakes, and even reboots, and they were still absolute trash, compared to the original actors and source material.
