We got a rug outside the door after years of not having one or having indoor outdoor green carpet. Check out the rugs made of recycle plastic, lots of different colors and patterns, fairly inexpensive - they have them at Walmart , ocean state, camping world- doesn’t collect dirt, not heavy, dries quickly, and some roll up and some fold

Our #1 out of 25 fav’s is our Silverfire Survivor Rocket twig Stove and the Silverfire 2gal Dragon Pot double walled, a campers dream for all day hot water. A volcano hood over the pot keeps it hot for hours.

Ive had a camper for 7 years and had no clue they made 15 to 30 amp adaptors. We always blew breakers at home trying to run the ac. Great tip!

Thanks Mike! So the adapter will just allow you to plug into a normal extension cord. You will still be limited to whatever your beaker amperage is in your house. A couple things though - we had the exact same problem as you. We did two things that fixed our problem. 1)Our electrical element in our water heater was bad, so we changed that. This can cause your breaker to trip as soon as you plug into electric (that happened to us at our house). 2)We added a "soft start" to our AC. This reduces the amount of start-up amperage you AC needs when you turn it on. The start-up amperage is what typically will pop a breaker or overload your generator. To my understanding, it also kicks in when the condenser runs. Here is where we bought it (this is not a sponsor, this is just where I bought it. However, we are basically at the max of our breaker at our house which is 15-amp, so we can literally not be doing anything else on that breaker or it will pop. get the out door carpet ( grass) at the big box hardware store, can get it to length of your rv and costs way less than at a rv shop. as to the tables get wood or alu, not the plastic ones. no need to buy a special socket if you have a good tool box. as to the adaptors for a drill motor they can be bought in sets of three (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) at el chepo tools. just buy a quality surge protecter , and hard wire it were all outside power comes in, no muss, no fuss. and it can not “walk away”.

Table top gas grill and a griddle for the top of it. Extra lp gas tank ,a lp gas tank tee and hose to go with it. No more 1lb gas tanks and you can run both grill and stove to expand your kitchen.

Thanks! We actually just installed a 30amp plug on the side of our house because we had to upgrade our electrical panel. Before we were not able to hook up to our house. @@steveho7190 If you have a circuit that can handle 30amps, you may be able to use the adapter and run your RV. If not, a 30 or 50 amp RV plug might be something to install. I'll tell ya what, it is pretty cool to be able to hook up to a 30amp RV plug!

You definitely had a few items I haven't seen too often which is great. I was wondering with the indoor/outdoor temperature device, what did you do with the outdoor detector piece? I picked up a similar one and am trying to figure out if I should try to mount it somewhere on the trailer or just place it somewhere on the campsite each time I arrive. If you did mount it to your trailer, where did you end up mounting it?

What tires do you run on your trailer? Do you recommend them?

We have Trac Gard ST205/75 R14 load C rated tires. We bought them from a local shop but apparently you can buy them on Amazon, here's a link: amzn.to/2RaAZX9 We got them at the beginning of last season and have gone on 12 camping trips with them. They have held up very well so far and look new still. They maybe have around 2,500-3,000 miles on them. We're very happy with them so far. Thanks for watching!

Why do you use so many levelers under your stabilizer jacks?

Good question Jim. We found that when our scissor jacks are not extending out as much, there is less movement in the camper. So, we use a ton of blocks so that the scissor jacks don't have to extend out as much. Thanks for watching!

Man, a DC outlet. Lol. My camper has 2 dedicated usb only outlets. I remember my first camper years ago had DC outlets. Pretty soon they will be coming with wireless charging pads. Lol

Yep, 1 DC outlet! That's what a 2010 model will get ya! Surprisingly we have been able to run everything we need off that one outlet. We have also utilized portable battery packs to help charge our phones and other USB devices which has helped. Thanks for watching Michael!

I just added several usb charge ports in my truck camper, there is a lot of power loss when using one of this converters. Not saying it’s bad to have one but I try and use dc-2-dc when at all possible!
