$25 SCAM MUA vs $25 PRO MUA *they're neighbors*

I visit two makeup artists in my city who both charged $25 for a fall makeup look but they both gave very VERY different results.

I think it looks good for the price she payed, but I agree that it isn’t exactly the pinnacle of makeup(ie the lips could’ve been fixed up a bit imo). But yea, it is very interesting that we as an audience have become so used to seeing such horrific makeup looks and hygiene that when we see a look that’s decent or a place that has moderate hygiene, we all think it’s absolutely amazing.

I love how the first "mua" held up her finger/tube like a magic trick/redirection... Like "look at the lil birdy over here (while i put the grossest mascara on your lashes). . You didn't see aaaannnyyyythiiiinnnggggg...." Also yeah def have seen you get makeup done for $5 or less so $25 is crazy for that shit. That eyeshadow brush that was so old and stale it was permanently bent out of shape, the dirty tissue, tiny contour 😅😅, beer cap curler, used spooly... Just so much yucky.
