Wish the bed was liftable to monopolize on the lost space underneath for closet space and other storage. Good job on the economy version.

Jason, I have never understood why people put porch lights so close to their entry doors. In my experience the light attracts tons of bugs such that when you open the door to go in/out you let them hop right in! My recommendation for future conversions would be to put the light at least 6-10 feet away from the door. The light that gets cast down from the porch light is always going to be enough to see the steps and key hole and if it's not right next to or above the door it will still work just fine. Just sayin'.....

Beeswax makes a great lubricant for wood to wood contact. It doesn't attract dirt and makes sliding joints slide much easier. It can be thinned with mineral oil and heat ,best to use a double boiler as the mixture is flexible, so use due caution , like doing the process outdoors. Nice build,well done, thanks for the tour.

Very nice conversion love the paint color and the nice clean interior best of luck to the nurses on many happy and safe miles of a journey in life i used to do Architectual Woodworking as my lively hood and the company specialized in Building and renovating Hospitals around the Washington DC metro area as luck would have it in my 40s i suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury therefore needing to stay long term in hospitals because of my profession i learned that Nurses pretty much run the places and because of my injury i learned that a good crew of nurses on staff can make or break a hospitals ability to perform well and really help the patients in. A summary Nurses Rock ! You guys really do make the world a better place and Thankyou to each and every one

TWO THUMBS UP FOR THE BOTTLE OPENER! I just sold my Jeep last year, lifted and all the cool stuff... but my favorite upgrade was the bottle opener on the front bumper!

Suggestions.. 1. Foldable stove reflector or you can add a camping stove wind reflector while cooking (easy to remove once cooking is done). 2. other than the water tank.. Attach a portable roof (colored charcoal black and heated by sun in winter) solar shower system..good to clean the bus while on the road and other shower usage including dish washing.. 3. Foot powered washing machine would be ideal 4. Attach an RV shade awning.

love this bus conversion, colors and layout and all except instead of couch bed I would have a desk/table with 2 small comfy chairs with storage beside chairs and overhead. Also instead of the shelf over the sink, some metal hanging baskets for more useable storage other than that it is perfect. thanks for the great video. (also, if you had a smaller fridge you could put a couple drawers under it for more kitchen storage.)

Artscape window film would work perfect for a bathroom window covering. Does a great job at providing privacy without blocking out the natural light :)
@longyarn42885 жыл бұрын
Just as an FYI - it can get moldy around the edges. 😑 I think if I needed to do a privacy covering over a bathroom window ever again, I think I might go with a glass paint of some kind. Or better yet, replace the clear glass with frosted.

thomas vista? also, in the shower...some elect to drop the shower pan into the floor to gain height. i toyed with the idea to turn one of my built-n under storage compartments in to a coffin-like hidden bed in the floor. i also used some of the under storage for supply water, and black water tanks. one for bottled lp too.

I liked the false floor by the main door, the bug screen, the light & airy shower, the big fridge freezer, rear view camera, outside table and the bedroom. However, I thought the kitchen needed more than a 2 burner stove. A roof raise all round would've been better, especially for the aircon. I also couldn't imagine making do with a shower curtain for the toilet, especially as they've gone to the trouble of fashioning a bespoke oak unit - surely some privacy is required?!

Is the outside tabletop detachable? I'm thinking constant exposure to sun, rain, dirt, dust, and road muck is going to degrade/warp the wood. Not to mention having to scrub it before you use it every time. Or not be able to use it because it's wet. Where do you 'table' when it rains (i.e. eat, work, write, play cards or board games)? Maybe you could add fold down hairpin legs so you can use it inside, too?
