At my 30 i am revisited these old games with rg35xx and my arcade machine to find ridiculous how good i am at newer games and how bad i am playing old games. Its just show how we have been pampered so much by current generation of gaming. And somehow i feel refreshing about this phenomenon. 😂

@@edbrito-swdev yes same with me. Thats why all of these portable console are awesome. They are cheap and literaly can be played everywhere anytime. Since i dont have the time i just bring it always so when i do have time i just turn it on and played like 15-20 minutes and back to work.

This is the best quality retro handheld I’ve ever bought. Seriously. The build quality is amazing. I also usually only play PlayStation down anyways, as they are my favorite systems. So missing N64 and Psp is only a slight disappointment. The build is just way more than the 50-60$ I paid for this thing. It’s sturdy, feels great, is comfortable for longer gameplay compared to most others and the screen is phenomenal for its price. Plus every ps1 title you could think of. And adding roms are so freaking easy. Click and drop onto right labeled folder. I left it at stock firmware because you don’t really need custom firmware on this system, it actually takes away (in my opinion). I bought another to keep in the box I love it so much. Abernic truly cares about the player for this device. Recommend to anyone!!!

Chrono Trigger is a great way to test for input lag. Right at the start of the game, go to the fair and try the ring-the-bell game. It's to the left side of the running track. It requires you to hit a button at just the right time, which is very difficult to pull off if there is any input lag.

For the most part I do like my rg35xx. I've only experienced a few games that didn't work. I played through a bunch of the capcom arcade games and some gba and snes games. Ps1 games like medal of honor work well.

My only issue is how many of the games are in japenese only like if you get this for FF7 the one that it comes with is all japenese, im guna have to get another sd card learn to download the right emulator sowftware and get more ps1 games bc im scared to touch the card it came with bc im worried ill mess it up, rather try with a new one learn and know i got the other one no matter what

If you want to add more games you just need to find the ROMS, and transfer it to the SD Card. And thats's about it!

I have a few questions about the RG35XX, in this video is the aspect ratio, 4:3, or 8:7? How much smaller is it than the RP3+? And what do you which do you prefer for more Retro Emulation, NES- GBA?

id say gba, gba just has better games, nes felt too arcadey, with most games not saving at all and high score based. plus, gba had ports of many popular nes games anyway, like mario n zelda n metroid n stuff

Th3 rg35xx has a 4:3 aspect ratio. It's about half of the rp2+ i'd say. For gba emulation i usually prefer the smaller handheld!

This struggles too, but with custom firmware you can safely overlock the device and run Yoshi at full speed!

That's strange, they usually come with loads of SNES games. It might be under a different name though, such as SFC (Super Famicom)
