Nice. Wouldn't mind one of those just a little out of my budget at the moment. Where abouts in aus do u live? I am thinking about a metal garage / shed for a layout worried it might be too cold or hot. I live in Vic

If they both have a motor will they run independently?

Chris I dont believe so the decoder is one of the units while the speaker is in the other they cannot operate indapendently. As for the layout in the shed idea, i dont recommend it personally in summer its insufferable but winter for me is fine being in queensland. If your intention is to use a shed ensure it is well sealed and insulated from the elements. Hope this helps, Cheers... Ben.
