unlike AoE, the game is hard to learn but easy to master. if you know the fundamentals of the game, then 5v1 ing shouldn't be difficult.

If you do positive fear factor build the gardens where they are inaccessible or enclose them with a wall, so your workers will not walk to them, instead rest on the spot, saving the time they walk to these and back. You will keep all bonuses, as these only have to exist on the map.

That Fuck Tonnato swordsmen can be hit a thousand times by arrows while Assassins get hit by i think one or two- yes, you cant See them until theyre very Close to your wall but even then theyre gone by one Shot

If you mean crossbows ye But swords arabian ones are gonna get killed by anything even a damned group of slingers [i sent 20 arabian swordsmen thinking id get Sultan, i mean it worked with Crusader Swordsmen whats diference here] there is 1 and thats arabian swordsmen just suck for anything but most likely a defence Im better of getting assassins who DON'T die that fast from normal archers [and besides every AI lord uses normal arches mostly] Not even pig can take out assasins with crossbowmen hell only swords men slowed me down before killing him, and wolf was just pain in ass since i forgot to take out a Mangonel.

That Fuck Tonnato You obviously don't know what a mercenary is.I mean,it's pure logic why barracks units cost less,you provide both weapons and armour you just have to recruit them while hiring mercenaries includes their weapons,armor and stuff all in their price in gold.You can look at this historically too.For example,Wolf is an European lord who came here to wage war(that's why it's called Stronghold CRUSADER) and if you look what he trains,it's both barracks and mercenary post units.He "carried with him units from Europe" but he also accepted the offer from local mercenaries and that's why we see him hiring arabian ballistas,archers and horse archers.

3 Crossbow shots vs Arabian Swordsman, slingers exist, arab fire throwers are very situational. But they have Arabian Archers and Horse Archers and Assassins. So in some cases, arabs are better, in some, they aren't.

@@proximityclockworkx1572 Yes but I meant in the long run, for Arabs you don't need to waste all that precious space by building so many workshops and armoury buildings, neither all the gold needed to facilitate the construction of all those buildings. You can't have much space for all those bakeries if you are a great bread producer and thus struggle a lot with space. So as a solution you make a bigger castle which asks for even more resources, and all that gold needed to buy weapons to the starting defensive units and to train them, which will be increased with a bigger castle because there will be more area to guard. And even so you won't have much space unless you make a castle the size of a whole country.

@@proximityclockworkx1572 And slingers are very useful if you are in a very tough financial situation. And fire throwers are kind of like the crossbowmen of the Arabian mercenaries, you need one or two good shots and you got a whole swordsman down and because fire spreads it also end up killing huge groups of people at once, instead of one crossbowmen being limited to just one man at one time, and even that can take 3 to 4 shots if it's a heavy armoured unit. Just that fire throwers have a limited range, but you only need crossbow men for the people that are going to come close, I.e. the swordsmen, pikemen and the macemen. Otherwise, Arab Archers can easily take care of mid to long.range troops, except for horse archers, which even crossbowmen struggle against. And a couple of shields on the tower can easily help both archers and crossbowmen so all win. Sure firemen are expensive but you only need like 2 of them on each large tower.
