it's ok when it originally came out i played it on a projector 📽️ many a time i was spooked and needed a break for my 💜 do people use projectors anymore ?

Not much. They can't match the resolution of flat displays anymore, & when you can get a 65" 4K display, you don't really need one anyway.

Resolution isn’t much of an issue, you can get 4K projectors, the main thing is that a projector will struggle to match the contrast of a good TV, especially an OLED. Then again my projector’s image looks as good as a decent non-OLED TV, and with a100” screen PS4 games look fantastic. Though I mainly use it for watching films.

@@rosstee For native 4K you'd be looking at £4-10,000 for anything decent though & that's just silly money, especially since it's not likely to last as long as a display.

@@nightcatarts I agree, I couldn't afford a JVC or something like that. I have an Epson TW7300 which was a little over £1K brand new in a sale a couple of years ago and I'm very happy with it in a dedicated room. With a good fixed-frame screen the picture does look like a huge TV and it can do wide colour and 'pixel shifting' to produce a resolution somewhere between 1080p and 4K. Looks impressive with a well produced blu-ray.
