Oo,goody. I get to chime in ! My aunt and uncle ran a huge farm. It was mostly an apple orchard though so… if your apples are mushy,you’re using the wrong apples. There are different types of apples for different types of texture and palettesand the pastry part,two and you will thank me later,yes seriously. Use green apples,certo, pineapple or orange juice,sugar,a little bit of water we’ll say half cup,your peeled fresh apples,probably six or so? Then flour,egg,oil and ICE WATER!

The alluring Moonflower. When I lived in Texas I grew a Moonflower vine, and its fragrance was absolutely heavenly. If you live in a climate where it will grow, it's a fantastic addition to your landscape.

Minus 40 is also known as 40 below Apparently, if you fell all the way through the earth, not only will you bounce back like on a rubber band, it will take the same time as the ISS orbit, according to neil degrasse tyson In my foshpond several years ago, i had a pump that had a partial circulation back into the pond, the fish would queue to get into the stream to be pushed to the other end of the pond and swim back to the queue, they were ghost koi and goldfish.

I was one of those 1 in 2500 babies. Mommy THOUGHT she was, but her docs kept giving her excuse after excuse (You're an obese woman, it's early menopause, it's acid reflux, etc) 3 hours before I was born, an ER nurse asked her if she had these symptoms before. She said yes, 20 years prior when she had my sister. The nurse looked at Mommy & said, 'Well, guess what? You're in labor.'

I did the calculation of falling to the center of the earth while studying for my degree way longer ago than I'm going to admit here. As you pointed out, it assumes (incorrectly) that the earth is a perfectly homogenous sphere, so the exercise is more of a mind game than a proven fact - but IF conditions were impossibly perfect, it would take a shade over 42 minutes to fall to the core. And IF you'd dug the hole all the way through the earth, and IF there were no air resistance, you'd be falling so fast you'd shoot past the core and up out the other end of the hole, slowing down for the same reason you speeded up falling into it. When you finally reached the other end, you'd have slowed to a stop. If you didn't climb out, you'd fall back in and return to your starting point. If you let yourself fall back in again, you'd cycle back and forth forever, making the round trip in about 84.5 minutes, exactly the same time as a satellite orbiting at the surface of the earth - another physical impossibility, but yay math. By the way, by the time you reached the core, you'd be traveling at about 7904 meters/second, or 1642 mph - a little over Mach 2.

McDonald's served pizza in limited places as an experiment in the early 1990s. I was traveling out of town and thought I was dreaming when I saw pizza at a Mickey D's. Not a good dream, either. The fact that they didn't offer it nationwide gives you an idea of how good it was.

#4. Self-rising flour is an excellent way to keep your vegetable garden free of pests. Whether the bugs eat it or breathe it in, as soon as the yeasts get moisture from inside their bodies, the bugs are on a timer. The yeast releases CO2, and because bugs can neither burp nor fart, they eventually explode.

10:39 It took me until I was 5 months pregnant to get a positive pregnancy test (I was getting weekly blood tests and urine tests, as well as pelvic exams) I went from not pregnant to 5 months pregnant within 24 hours. If my doctor had just listened to me and ordered a ultrasound from the beginning, my youngest daughter may not have been born with the multiple medical issues she has.
@Sorchia5624 күн бұрын
All my tests came out negative, including ultrasounds, until I was 4 months along. All three pregnancies were exactly the same so after my first, I knew. I’m tiny so no clue how they could not find a baby on ultrasounds is beyond me. Thankfully, all three were born healthy with no complications.

The same thing happened with my daughter and it was her fifth pregnancy. And the same results...my granddaughter has multiple health issues. But I'm thinking her genetic and metabolic issues may have skewed the multiple pregnancy tests.

Nr 20 I remember from when I studied physics in Germany. We should calculate how long it would take if we bult a gravitational underground service to New Zealand (if the density of the earth was homogenous). I don't remember now the exact result, but twice 42min sounds reasonable. Have to calculate it again. 🙂

ive driven more than the average person drives in their life, 600k miles and im only 43. i never got a ticket or been at an at fault accident and i try to be as polite as possible but dont let other drivers get away with things. tbh it depends on the speed and what everyone else is doing. if everyone is in a lane which is about to merge, and its possible to cut ahead, you should not do it unless you have a very good reason to. late for work is not a very good reason
