All these look so fun! Vintage Fiction is cozy. The 39 Steps is one I want to read because I liked the Hitchcock movie.

Nice selection! I’m just starting to add more older titles that aren’t classics to my TBR list so I very much enjoyed seeing your list. I just ran across a lot of Catherine Cookson books and picked those up. Wondering if you have heard of her as I had not and I don’t think I’ve heard anyone mention her books. From researching Catherine Cookson, it seems she was a quite popular British author.

Also, I’d love to hear if you or your followers have any tips/techniques for vintage books when it comes to cleaning them up a bit, handling them, and maintaining without damaging them. None of mine have much monetary value, but I want to enjoy them and read them while also keeping them intact as best I can. So I’d love to hear what other people do.

I have not read the Forsythe Saga but I have the book and the mini series. The mini series is so good. And it does have a sequel to it as well about the children of the main couple. It is such a long book that I was hesitant to start into it. Maybe you can rent and watch it after you read it, or before. The book is always better than the movies.
