@patcady310 I have worked on lot of old bikes F valve on up to twin cam Harley's from 1911 up to 2013 I grew up in the 70s and 80s. Old bikes were more prevalent back in them. -, my dad was a bike mechanic and I helped him from the age of 10. This video is Based with lot of Bull shit.

I owned about eight or more Flathead Harleys in 45, 74 and 80 inch models and the first was a '31...I can wholeheartedly vouch for the bulletproof reliability of these old bikes, resulting from my happy experience riding them.

There was a competition kit offered with 10.5:1 comp, hotter cams and open exhaust pipes that TMC claimed 90+ in a technical bulletin. Was this list #25 being the worst or vice versa? Therefore, the 1202 cc in the 2011-2012 XR-1200X is the greatest. It is different from the EVO Sportster with its air box and other mods. And the 45 and 54 ci side valves of the 1952 to 1956 Model Ks were #2. Or were these so briefly mentioned that I missed them. The Sportster model line is one of the longest model run of any motorcycle. It is a history of evolution from carbs to EFI, magnetos and coil and point ignition to fully electronic, the Ironhead engine from ‘57 to ‘85, the Evolution from ‘86 to 2020 (?) intro of the Revolution Max 1250, 6 volt to 12 volt electrics, and so much more. Like the SB Chevy V8 after-market parts are still around. Personally I think the XLCR-1000 has a certain charm as being an early first?) example of the “blacked out” look and being like an opossum - ungainly but somehow “cute.” Now I don’t want to ride one …

Knowing as little as you do, I'm surprised that you had the gall to even put out a video like this. You're showing F-heads when you're talking about flatheads and flatheads when you're talking about F-heads's. You don't seem to know the difference! And so many of your statements show a total lack of knowledge. The F-head "ran rough and wasn't calm". No, it had big flywheels and low compression, so it was very smooth and was "calm". H-D didn't shelve the F-head after 1909. All the early Harleys were F-heads. The 1909 Vee-twin F-head was a failure because the atmospheric intake valves of alternate cylinders were being affected by blowby from the cylinder under compression. The Vee-twin F-head returned in 1911 with mechanical intakes and was produced until 1929. The knucklehead "allowed adjustments to the vee-angle"? What the hell are you talking about? No it didn't! That's ridiculous! The knucklehead was the Big Twin "Unlike the smaller flathead baby twin". There were flathead "Big Twin" 74's and 80's well before the knucklehead was introduced. "The camshaft with four lobes was introduced in the Shovelhead." No it wasn't. It was introduced in the Knucklehead. And how do you figure that the JD's were failures? They propelled H-D to the top of the American motorcycle industry because they were well built and reliable. It was a different time, and dependable was far more important than powerful. I can't believe that AI wrote this idiotic nonsense, so this garbage falls completely on whoever did.
