I’m in the same boat, just two months along and turning 26 in a week. Been practicing every day if possible and it’s been great. Keep it up!

I used to skate until I fractured my ankle and partially tore a muscle, so it just hurts to skate now especially since I was obsessed and it didn’t heal right.. lol. But this brought me back to when I was learning! It feels really special! If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask! Also, that hose seems like it helped a lot! I’m sure you were out there for a while, but once you got the hose involved it seems like it clicked for you! Keep it up! We all have different ways of learning, and you’ll only get better and more comfortable!

@TonyLeigh so fair dawg, I eventually just saved up for some good shoes on sale. Got some Tiago 1010s from NB and they've been amazingly durable but took a while to get used to as they're cup sole so less board feel. But super worth it, got used them and they're super protective and durable. Just try on some skate shoes at your local and see what you like under foot :)))

@TonyLeigh duct tapes a great temporary hack though, using big stickers like spitfire bighead stickers works well too :P and extra steaze
