Whenever I’ve watched Kuch kuch hota hai , K3G or even Ae dil hai mushkil even though you find loopholes in the plot the emotion just overpowers EVERY TIME!! When his movies end you feel so heavy. At least for me. He is my favorite film maker for that reason.

Glad others are not going GAGA about the great ALIA Bhatt! Ranveer is really good, but Alia? Who apart from KJo findes her remotely heroine material? With so many Divas in the industry she is touted as the diva and no 1 actor by KJo?? Give me a break. She looks average, lacks sex appeal and is an average actor. The movie was terrific but it's high time Karan stops giving a platform to mediocrity and hailing it as the next best thing since SRK. I mean in his younger days he was all about SRK. Now Alia?? What a huge drop in taste!!

This is exactly what I used to think of her as well until recently when I finally watched 2 of her movies (Udta Punjab and Highway) and finally can appreciate her talent. But she often picks dumb movies and doesn't really shine. She's definitely talented but I don't think she's they best actress around, not even remotely close.

Lol imagine calling Alia an average actor
@saketthite1888 Жыл бұрын
@@asthapurohit2666 well that's exactly what she is...even if one considers her good, no way she is pretty...she's the least pretty of them all...good enough to be a side actor to be honest

I have seen this idiotic comment in another video of Rocky aur Rani ki in a review of the movie by Sucharita Tyagi. Grow up man seriously- that is my one advice to you. Heroines are so much more than just eye candies. Alia Bhatt has proved herself in most of the movies she has done- Udta Punjab, Highway, Gully Boy, Raazi, Dear Zindagi, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kapoor and Sons, Darlings.... She is not at all an average actor. Rather she is one of the most versatile actors we have!!! PR- The times have changed when heroines were meant for amping up the sex appeal in the movies. We have brilliant actresses now like Alia who don't just act in a movie to be an arm candy of the hero and look pretty. Women centric movies are here to stay and women characters who are strong opinionated and fiesty is what Indian cinema badly needs. So stop with your bullshit.

@@seemonjena659 you are getting confused between actresses and heroines. Heroines head the film and films are visual mediums. People go to see good stories enacted by good looking main leads. You can be a terrific actor like Amrita Subhash, but do you see her appearing in a lead role in a commercial film? would you watch a commercial film if the male lead was not good looking? Why do you think all male leads apart from their acting chops also desire a six pack? To put their best foot forward in terms of LOOKS. If a male lead needs to be good looking why not a female lead? Are the male leads only eye candies? No, but it needs to be a full package and that applies to either gender for the main leads and that's the true definition of equality You are free to have your opinion about Alia, and so am I. I think she is average at best and is propped up because of industry links and KJo. The time have not changed so much that the main leads can get away with being average if not for being propped up by a influential father, and a bigger father figure. I think you need to look at reality as it is and have your own opinion on things, Not regurgitate what ever the media spoon feeds you about who is a good actor and who not. That's called growing up.
