Fun fact, LL Cool J wrote that verse. Russell Simmons didn't want any Def Jam artists on Self Destruction so he passed the verse on to Lyte. That's also the reason why Public Enemy went last on the track. KRS wasn't sure if they would be on the song.

One major difference is that back then you didn’t have to worry about being called a creep or weirdo or harasser for approaching a woman in those days, so while it’s easier to get to the business now once you meet, you have to set up all kinds of profiles online and learn how to navigate that environment to meet someone.
