1:48 Well, that’s concerning. Midnitetech was redoing all the odd jobs, I think, and now they are only locked behind the paywall . . . though there doesn’t seem to be evidence that they were actually remade, so maybe the old files still work (I have them. I just haven’t tried them). I did a quick check and some things are available, such a the newest odd jobs, but not others, such as all the older odd jobs. 3:01 KiaraSims and BossladyTV are my go to modders for TS2 careers. Both also have TS3 careers, as you mentioned for KiaraSims and BossladyTV also has at few TS careers. I love both of their work so much. 5:20 I know most, maybe all of ItsKatato’s mods were adopted by other modders. I think Need4Coffee adopted at least two of the careers you showed.

Yeah I was also a bit concerned they were now locked behind a pay wall… It looks like they are still working on it but not really fast and I also thought it was a bit of a shame. Especially because it’s technically not allowed by EA TOS.. I love kiarasims and bossladytv as well! They do amazing work! 😍 And I think indeed it’s katato’s mods were adopted by others simmers! I think maybe she still puts updated versions on her website but the upkeep is done by other modders indeed :)

@@Rosannatxt I admit I haven’t looked at ItsKatato’s site recently, since I found the posts of the people who adopted the ones that interested me, so I only know that they are maintained on the other people’s sites. It would definitely be cool if she keeps the updated mods on her site as well.

They mentioned they are working on a refresh of all the careers and the perm paywall is the "convenience download' because you get all the careers in 1 download. You can still find each career separately through people who reblogged the careers at one point so they argue that technically it's not behind a paywall. You either have to put in a lot of work to get it for free or you pay 1 dollar to get it in 1 download. I'm not saying I agree with their approach, just sharing the info they have on the blog because I think this is the exact reason they get away with it and a report is not going to help. They are walking the technicalities of the rules... Annoyingly so because their mods are good 😅

Hello, Rosanna. I really hope you could answer a question about players & why they appreciate the vampires pack only around the Halloween holiday but usually ignored if it's only some spooky build challenge? why can't they played as a day in the life of a vampire? I know they are night creatures and all creepy so, most sims players know the way we play is often dark and grim why hide it on camera?

I’m sorry but I have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. There are A LOT of content creators (both on KZbin and Twitch) who play with the vampires pack and actually play with it pack. I plan to do a full play through myself as part of my pack legacy challenge. I guess you might have not found the right creator for the your taste maybe but it’s definitely not the case that nobody plays with them or hides it on camera 😅

Hey!! I’ve not had any issues with them myself personally but I also know that that doesn’t mean the mod is not actually broken. I know a lot of things did break with more recent patches so it might be that they still work for me but no longer if you download them fresh. I totally did not think to check that upfront I’m sorry!!

I'm afraid not - and if there is, it's a rabit hole career meaning you won't notice too much of it in game and it would be more your storytelling around it that would make the difference

Can be one folder in your mods folder as long as you don’t sort them into sub folders within that folder!

If you have high school years then you can follow your teen to school. If you want to follow your kids to school you have to look for a mod for that. It’s not in this video as this is a video covering careers for adult sims. I know there are mods for following kids to school but I don’t know which they are so you’ll have to search for them.

Like I mention in the video, there are couple of “active” careers which means you have to play them. All of the others are rabbit hole career like any other career in The Sims 4

But I just memorized which ones were active when I used them in my game so I’m not a 100% sure how to see it in the game

You do realize that this is from a big variety of different creators and that I put them all in 1 video right?? That is already a convenience step so you don’t have to go find them all separately. There is no one download because it’s not made by one person. You’re acting like I made these careers and like creators owe you anything by putting it in one download to make it easier for you. If you think it’s too much of a hassle then don’t download it. It’s that simple. You’re missing out on amazing mods in you’re game but there is no one who will feel bad about this but you. So don’t exactly know what you’re trying to get from this comment but I guess the only one at loss here is you 🤷🏼‍♀️

Because the feature of active careers came with an expansion pack and is not available in the basegame unfortunately. However for most you only need get to work which is on sale pretty often! (:
