I'll try to remember to let you know which ones I would like to see by default in the game after I get these packs and try them out. One thing I know about traits that I don't like is that even if you use a potion to change your traits your Sim will still act like they have that trait and be upset because they haven't done anything having to do with it. I tried to mod the game with the MC Mod + Add traits and every mod is breaking my game (chyngiu and kiara). Cant save family in the creation ... Getting error message when loaging game ''error reload the game please'' Am i the only one to be in that case ? Thanx.

Most likely its because the mods you're trying to install are outdated and not updated for the latest game version or they are conflicting. Usually mod pages mention which of the game version it's compatible with and if there are any known conflicts. Make sure to check that to know if you're installing a version that should work. If you still run into issues the best you can do is reach out to the modder through their support channels (discord usually) to check what might be going wrong.

I've installed the More Trait Slot mod but my cas menu looks all glitchy, does anyone know how to fix it? :(

Just checking - have you installed the latest version and checked all possible conflicting mods. The more cas trait mod is known to cause UI glitches if it’s outdated or combined with other UI mods. Otherwise I’m not sure what to do about it 😅

Correct it’s broken as of the update yesterday! They usually fix it in a couple of days though! 😊

I've had them all in my game at once and they don't break the game or anything, but I can imagine some traits might not work as well when you have them all at the same time

I have a question . I downloaded a sim family from gallery ,the female in the household has 3 traits and 1 added trait called foodie. Do you know how that happened???? Or is it something maxis added ????

Yes! Sims can have up to 6 traits I believe through gameplay and self discovery :) So while playing, based on your sims behavior, the game will suggest “bonus” traits! This was introduced with the growing together patch!!

It’s a mod! You install it just the same like other mods or CC! :) If you check out the mods page on my website I link to this exact one but you can also search for “cas background” and you’ll find plenty of other cute ones!!

Has the update cadence for these mods been pretty consistent with new patch releases?

The more trait slot mod is usually the one that breaks with updates because it alters the UI but the creators have updated it every single time for the past 2 years. Most of the traits don't need updates because they don't break. Only rarely they become obsolete because the sims team adds the traits themselves!

thepancake1 and MizoreYukii are super-dedicated and work hard to get their mods updated asap after every update. More Traits in CAS is usually one of the first they get to, but since they make some huge mods, things like Color Sliders take awhile for new packs.

How do you know? I checked the patreon and socials of both creators and I cannot seem to find anything about a permanent shut down. I really hope it's just broken temporarily... 🥲

@@Rosannatxt I hope so too. There were complaints about this mod even 3-4 weeks ago, but for the past few months, the modder has not responded to anyone for this mod. I've also had minor UI problems since October, but now, it's gotten to the point to where it's even messing up some of the buttons/icons on the screen. I hope their really is a fix coming soon :(

@@gseric4721 Do you have any other mods on your game that are not updated after the patch? because I do think this mod is broken as well (because it breaks with almost every patch) but if there are more UI issues it's likely not only because of this mod. I would recommend removing this mod from the game until the creator has updated it. In hopes that they do that of course! But keeping a broken mod in your game could also corrupt your saves at one point, so it's better to just take it out!

@@Rosannatxt Yes. I'm definitely being careful, and haven't loaded any of my saves since the patch update. Like many others, all we can do is wait. Reverting back to just 3 traits for sims and lots is just terrible. I really do hope there is an update soon 😭

I totally agree, whe you're used to having more traits going back is so painful!! But I'm glad you're being safe and making sure your game and saves are not getting broken!! Let's keep our fingers crossed they fix it soon 🤞🏼
