Very cool! Just got my sub, for sure. Bought 20 acres in Montana last summer, as soon as I’m not snowed in I’ll be heading down the mountain to pick up a sawmill & will be building a covering. $250 is a nice cost! Also, loved the community involved...neighbors, friends, and the next generation paying attention. Modeling hard work and accepting help and building something with your own hands is one of the greatest gifts you could give your son. Much respect. 🤟🏼

I think this is great work. I want to use your idea of laminating the boards to lock them together rather than solid beams. Do you have any concern about the side of roof sticking past the main supports and rafters? Would they lift in strong wind? Mine is going to be in the woods so I’m guessing much less wind. I’d like to use that idea from you too. Thx so much and keep it up. You really look to be enjoying it.
