Finished P6.
Currently sitting 3rd in the Championship.
Disappointed in the result as got up to P4. Still some fantastic, close racing. We made some engine & setup changes which went the wrong way resulting in us dropping back slightly.

I've never driven one of these so could be talking bollocks but you've found a great line onto Brooklands however, looks like you were carrying too much speed into Luffiend which was messing up your momentum all the way through to Maggots. Nailed it a couple of time though, especailly on the last lap.

No matter how fast the actual speeds are, with an open cart like this [versus being fully enclosed], the engine screaming right beside you along with its unrelenting vibration, the rush of the wind pounding you every moment and your seat mere inches above the racing surface, this has to feel much, much faster. While exhilarating, I suspect the reward of reaching the finish line and being able to recover in peace and quiet must be a well-deserved and highly-anticipated moment. Amazing! 🙌🏻

I couldn’t have written it better myself my friend! Great description of what it’s like! It really is like nothing Else out there! Purely because of how low to the ground you are and the speeds/laptimes were doing (similar to F3)! Would love it if you could subscribe to come on this years racing season with me!! I sprint raced 100cc karts and was like Woah every end of a race weekend.... Can't imagine 250cc. Someday 🙂✌️

Thanks for posting Rob. So cool to be able to watch this stuff from the other side of the world (New Zealand). I'm intrigued by your (sometimes) lack of straight line speed and the fact that it then seems perfectly fine on some other laps. Is this a gearing thing going on? Thinking about it, it may also be the two (or no tow) coming into effect.

Gearing was spot on mate, we looked at the data and it was pulling to revs at the back straight which is what we always aim for. :)
