This is the solidarity we need. Activision/Blizzard is, unfortunately, wealthy and powerful enough to sweep this under the rug if people don't fight them tooth and nail and stand up to them. Good on each and every one of the employees protesting, I'm with them and the victims 100%.

Activision may be feeding the hordes from the background. Considering blizzard lack of profits has been turning into a baggage on activision, there is nothing Activision would like more than fully appropiating blizzard IP's and erase the company name. Trust this one. AV has been playing the waiting game for some years already, they are waiting for the moment to strike down.

Addendum: there can be regulatory action against tax havens but that doesn't _exclusively_ affect corporations. *Taxation in general* (aforementioned havens funneling tax dollars into tax less overseas accts, non-existent taxation on *investments* for billionaires, *Because that's how they hoard wealth) should be addressed, But regulations in those areas are also minor, it simply takes rewriting tax brackets, which basically happens with every new political cabinet.

Hi Italian here. Nice video as always, keep up the good work. Honestly I do not think an open letter is going to change anything: public outcry can only go so far. Striking employees and plummeting shares might be go much further in terms of forcing the company to change. That being said, the astonishingly tone deaf PR statements from the company are kind of fascinating . Even taking into account the legal ramifications (they clearly plan to fight the lawsuit, so they have to publicly dismiss it) they are still 'ohmyGodwhatwereyouthinking' level of bad. I mean, did anyone even bother to proofread them?

Sadly, not so much anymore. The sociopaths in higher management all band together to protect each other from harm. You have to get a Harvey Weinstein level scandal to get people to turn on each other. Otherwise, they'll just deny and wait out the storm. At this point, the only thing that's gonna fix this kind of behavior are mass criminal charges and severe jail times. An 8 month stay for ruining the lives of thousands of people isn't gonna do it.

Here would be the most evil thing Activision Blizzard could do - fire anyone on the open letter who has ever had any sort of complaint (or countercomplaint) made against them. Look, problem solved, there are consequences for harassment! No one will ever complain again. Not that such an action will save them in the lawsuit. But it will let them get back to plan A of denying everything.
